closed – Closed in september, replaced by Suzette, another creperie.
2hr wait for crepes. Poor quality. – We visited this trailer / storefront with 4 friends. Waited 2 hours before the food came. When we checked with the sole waiter/cook (not chef), she was abusive. I guess service would have been better if we were Caucasian.
I left no tip and would caution anyone going to eat here.
Worth the wait – Although it may take a little time, these made to order crepes are amazing. Whether you are craving savory or sweet, or even better both, there is a plethora of different flavor combinations to suit every taste.
Quirky, Fun, and ABSOLUTELY Delicious – I stopped at Tour de Crepes on a Friday night, after window-shopping on Alberta street with a friend. I loved the cozy atmosphere immediately. There was a french film playing, no sound but w/subtitles, on a projecter screen, and a lot of board games to choose from. We had a mascarpone, dark chocolate, and pear crepe that was absolutely to die for, plus a "Mocktail", a fun martinelli's based drink. We had a great time and plan on going back.
Looks like an abandoned shack! – Intrigued by the rave reviews and the promise of a quaint atmosphere and unique cuisine, I set up a business gathering here, sight unseen. I didn't check the hours of operation, but assumed that since the specialty was crepes - traditionally a breakfast item - they would be open for a brunch-time meeting. When we got there, the place looked abandoned. Lights were out, hardly any decor inside when we peeked in, and an old trailer behind the place - presumably their kitchen since there looked to be no room for a proper one inside. The time was 10:00 am, and the sign said the hours were 9a-9p, but there was no one in sight, so we simply sauntered next door to Concordia Coffeehouse and enjoyed our meeting there. By the time we were done an hour later, it looked like TDC decided to open, but it was too late for us.
We are open Wed & Thurs 10am- 9pm, Fri 10am- 10pm, Sat 9-4, Sun 9am- 4pm.
Sorry we missed you.
Love these crepes! – Fabulous crepes + a great location = a lovely evening. I recommend coming here for dessert (get the vanilla bean, raspberry and chocolate crepe) and a drink. Eat slowly and enjoy people-watching on Alberta.
Unique and delicious – Went on a Sunday night at 7pm.
Kitchen is located in a seperate building so there is no one there to seat you but that was okay. The seating area feels very casual.
No rushing here.
The server was very nice and helpful.
I had the small house salad. Very tasty. I will definitely have that again. We ordered the jack cheese and tomato with lime crepe and the ham with grueire(sp). Both savory dishes were served in buckwheat crepes and were delicious.
I had the organic lemonade. Be prepared to add sugar.
For dessert we ordered the lemon curd with raspberry crepe, made to perfection, and the banana and coconut crepe, this one tasted good but a bit dry. All in all we will absolutely go here again.
Editorial Review by Annamaria Pardini – Sweet and savory crepes are made to order in a vintage Streamline trailer and served in a carriage house cafe.
