Food is always good and creative. The only problem with the place is no place to stand when waiting and the acoustics make it hard sometimes to carry on a conversation. But it is still worth it for the food.

The food is always yummy at Marche. However, the waiters & waitresses often are not very friendly or helpful. Especially if you bring a child. I'm not sure why they are all so grumpy--but it takes the fun out of eating there.

Dinner is the big secret – I have decided that the reason why I can't find more reviews about dinner at Marche is because those in the know don't want anyone else to know.

When my friend suggested it, I thought she was mistaken. I thought it was only brunch/lunch place. The "supper" hours aren't even posted on the door! But I was really wrong.

Amazing, amazing, inspired meal. Check out the asparagus and egg... Yum, and if you're really adventurous, they even have bone marrow on the menu.

Definitely a unique experience you don't often find in Nashville.

Not what it used to be – What has changed? Once one of my very favorite places to eat and some of the best entrees in town. Last couple months disastrous. Overcooked trout and duck and slimy mustard chicken. I hate that this has happened but 3 srikes and your are out!

A bit of France in Nashville – The menu in the evening changes monthly so you can look forward to enjoying what each season has to offer. Go in February before the cassoulet is gone. It was delicious last night. I can't figure out why no one goes at night. It is casual, romantic perhaps and just very comfortable. The Mussels and Little neck clams in a fennel bacon and cream sauce was rich and satisfying. Can't wait to see what March brings.

Undercooked Chicken. Ugh. – Ordered the mouth-watering-sounding buttermilk breaded fried chicken sammy for lunch. It arrived obviously undercooked. I sent it back. When it came back to me, my lunch companions were halfway through their lunches and my chicken sammy was still UNDERCOOKED. As in difficult to cut with a knife, almost raw undercooked. I decided against sending it back a second time because... two chances to cook this chicken is one too many and we had to get back to work. I won't be dining there again.

A Good Meal With Value – I was in town on business and brought my wife, so we decided to do an early Valentine meal. She loves French cuisine so I searched for good Nashville options. We were intending to go to Margots and when a parking spot was not readily available, we made the block and found this gem. I had seen it on this site earlier, but was under the mistaken impression that they did not serve dinner. As parking here was abundant we pulled in and I picked up a menu. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. We shared an appetizer of roasted tomatoes, cured olives and fried white beans and had a nice salad. For our entrees, I had the beef short rib special which melted in my mouth, and my wife had a beautifully presented vegetarian plate with a walnut encrusted portabello mushroom, a sweet potato mash, and roasted brussel sprouts with pine nuts. We finished our meal with a great pot-de-creme and a creme brulee. Everything was great, the service was excellent, and the price- with a glass of wine and coffees, under $75! I felt like we got a lot of quality and quantity for a good price. We are not high-dollar big spending foodies, but we love a good meal, and this one was definitely a great find.
