Delicious and Tasty – The food here was great. My parents are from Peru and they have the best dishes there so at times I am craving for their food. Even my 10-year old who is a picky eater loved it. The server was very nice and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go back.

Hungry? Need to Eat? Don't Go to Pardo's! – I called Pardo's and asked them if they take reservations and was told no. So realizing it's a Saturday night, I got to the restaurant 1/2 hour earlier than the rest of my party (a total of 4 of us) to put our name on the list. I got there at 7p. I was told by the young woman with the list that the wait would be an hour. Well at 8:20p we were still not seated nor did it look like we'd ever be since Pardo's has a "special reservations" list for their friends. Several times while we waited, we were told there is just one table ahead of you but somehow more people kept showing up "ahead of us" on a "reserved" list. I was told by the manager that if you call 1 day ahead, you can make a reservation but it appears that people who were walking in needed only to shmooze the woman with the list in spanish to get onto the list and ahead of us. In fact, I copped onto this when I watched as the woman with the list put new walk-ins down on the special "riservas" list. My friends and I finally left in disgust at about 8:30 when I was told all those with reservations will be seated ahead of us. It was a no-win situation. There was no telling how much longer we'd have to wait to get to eat there. The staff and the manager were ridiculously unprofessional in their handling of the entire situation. As more people filed into the restaurant, they were told the wait would be about an hour which was a lie since I'd waited almost 1 1/2 hours with still no table in sight. Maybe their food is good enough to deal with a ridiculous wait, maybe not. All I know is that although I am a very patient person, I am never going back to Pardo's.

Good BUT, Tables too close to each other – The chicken is really good, the best Peruvian chicken in town. The service is CHAOS!; toooo slow. The crowd is very ugly looking, at least the night I was there for dinner (but that is beside the point). Over all; a nice experience to try new exotic food.

Great Food, – what i can say, the food speaks for itself...great food!..the yuquitas fritas!!!the chicken has a perfect flavour, very different but delicious . Really a good place to go with friends to try something new. It was a special treat for us, we were looking for a place and we found it. The pisco sour and the inca cola are a goal!....the dessert called "Suspiro was unforgettable as the other plates. They preparer a wonderful sauce, a little hot but its OK.....It place is one of my favorites and always i want to go there with friends and colleagues.

Exquisite Cuisine....the food is extraordinary delicious!!!!! – Excellent food!..great atmosphere!!...the food is extraordinary delicious, I've never tried anything like that, i read in an article that the Peruvian food is the second most tasty food in the world after the French (i born there). Also, before stop there, i did some research and was astonish to read so many wonderful reviews about the Peruvian cuisine, I didn't know that one of their famous chef was the only Latin Chef invited to the Madrid fusion and this guy opened a restaurant in Washington that won the title of "Hot Cuisine of the Year".....The chicken was fabulous, really tasty, nothing compare with the Boston Market chicken (we're talking about fresh food). The chicken is marinated with Peruvian species. They offered an special "salsa de aji"...yuquitas fritas (fried yucas), chaufa (Chinese-style fried rice), nice drinks as the pisco sour, Inca's corn, chicha (purple corn), Inca Cola, Peruvian Beers, papitas fritas (potatoes fries).

Indian food is Ok but definitely, very far fromnm the Peruvian cuisine, it's fabulous, great, awesome!!!! If you have to wait a few minutes, it's really worth the time...my husband love it!!...If you had the chance to go to the NOBU restaurant, you'll taste all the traditional peruvian flavor as the well known "Ceviche" mastered by the owner. The owner of the NOBU spent a quality time triying to leran how to preparer Ceviche and other things, and they just use peruvian supplies. Peruvian Cuisine has a lot of good reviews in the Bon Appetite and the NY Time...give it a try, you will love it!!!

Cheap place nothing else – Well I tried to give this place a chance but I still don't understand the fuss around Peruvian food, the chicken almost the same as Boston Market, anything else just normal, If you want real chicken try an Indian restaurant, I'm still not impress by Peruvian food.
