Had the meatball sandwich and it was a bit too salty. Also, it would have been nice if the bread was toasted to make the sandwich less soggy.

Some of my favorite delivery (or dine-in) pizza in LA – This place is one of my favorites. And yes, the two people at the bottom have reviewed the wrong establishment. All I can say is that you won't be disappointed ordering delivery or even eating in. You'd be good to get any of the pizza combinations, and the fettucine with italian sausage is one of my favorite pasta dishes on the menu. It's not the best pasta I've ever had, but it's definitely great especially for a casual delivery pizza joint, and I'm quite a food snob.

PS: The garlic bread in the form of "ballz" of dough (they wouldn't let me spell the word correctly as it was "inappropriate" even if not in this context) are also fun and remind me of the long defunct (or moved) restaurant Coyote that I ordered from as a kid (Pace is now there in its place).

Correction – The other 2 reviews on this page refer to Frankie and Johnies Pizza on Sunset, where horrible customer service can be expected.

Johnie's NY pizza has excellent customer service. The Pizza is great, toppings list is long, salads are huge, delicious and fresh. This is a nice family restaurant located in a strip mall. I strongly reccomend skipping Frankie and Johnies pizza and comming here instead.

Thin crusts with little mush and lotsa grease – This is a popular lunch spot on the Strip and it's not surprising; the mid-day special is a good deal (slice of pizza, soda and salad) for under $6. Expect to see the walls scrawled with the autographs of celebs and slices that are primed for some napkin-sopping thanks to the heavy dose of grease. Not bad, but not the greatest either -- it'll do when you're in a pinch for time or money.

Great Pizza, sometimes bad service – Went on a Tuesday, it was a joke, waitresses mean and rude as heck.

Went on a Monday, waitresses were cute and polite, and professional. there was also a great buy one get one free 14' deal as well...

long story short go on a Monday, don't go on monday, but pizza is great so definatelly go

Good food/Erratic service – We've been ordering from Jacopo's for years in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and now West Hollywood. The pizza is still good and the delivery is prompt. But. A couple of years ago something changed and it's been all downhill. No more bread with the orders. Or napkins or forks. Or salad dressing substitutions. Today, the deliveryperson didn't have change for a twenty and said she'd be back. An hour and a half later I walked up the street to the store and got my change. Believe it or not, they charge three dollars for delivery. I'll probably still order from them, but I'll pick it up myself to make sure the order has been correctly filled. I don't ordinarly post negative reviews, but a limit has been reached.

Popular pizza and Italian joint loads on the toppings and kitsch. – In Short
Jacopo's puts all its effort into medium-crust pizza, so the atmosphere--kitschy leopard print surfaces, primary colored paintings, neon splashes--and Italian fare at this popular mini-chain are simple. At prime dining times, pies are also served by the slice; garlic tomato sauce and a range of toppings draw regular crowds. Lily Pizza comes with ricotta, mozzarella, spinach, roasted garlic and shallots. Traditional Italian fare includes Caesar salad, fried breaded zucchini dipped in marinara or ranch, calamari and spaghetti with house tomato-basil sauce.
