Bria is the best! – i've tried many Pilates studios in Seattle, after having taken classes in NY for 15 years. Bria is far and away the best Pilat es studio that I've found in Seattle. Their instructors are higly trained and the most lucid in terms of explaining how each move affects your body. Everyone at Bria -- from the front desk to the studio is warm and helpful.
Great Classes and Private Instruction – After several private lessons and a couple of group classes, I have seen a measurable difference in my posture and core strength. It is amazing how quickly an hour can pass! Marisa and Nikki are both great instructors - if you are looking for a place to start.
Wonderful Pilates Studio – After trying out several pilates studios around Seattle, I always come back to Bria to get the best teachers and classes in the city. Recently the studio has increased class times and availability of their teachers making a lot easier to get the times that work for me. Pilates is an investment and with Bria you get the tailored attention you don't get at other studios. I highly recommend it.

I'm finally exercising! – Finally, time catches up and all the things we used to do are not enough....the old tricks to get rid of those extra pounds don't work anymore and a minimalist approach to movement and activity don't seem to matter at all!
I've never been into any sports, and am one of those the gyms bank on joining: pay the membership and never go. I do like yoga, but my favorite yoga studio is a bit of a drive, and I have never developed my own home practice.
I'd wondered about Pilates and passed Bria daily in any drive south from my home. Finally I stopped in and thought I'd give it a try. I'd never ever imagined I could ever be hooked on any kind of exercise, but I am! The exercise and fitness routines are a perfect combination of support and resistance. The instructors are so very knowlegable in how the body works and the kinds of movement for overall strengthening and toning as well as key muscle groups. Class groups are small, so everyone in the class gets some level of individual attention. In fact, everyone is made to feel welcome by friendly and helpful staff and instructors!
So here I am, finally committed to an exercise routine! Not only do I feel better in my body, but I've been through a remodel and made it to the end of the academic quarter feeling more relaxed and energetic than I ever thought possible!
Shouldn’t you make your workout work for you? – It makes intuitive sense; I was shocked when I reached this conclusion. I am one of those people who has a difficult time following directions while working out. You've probably seen me, or others like me. I'm the one who's usually moving in the wrong direction during your aerobics class. You know, the person who narrowly misses taking out the person next to her as she pumps her arms to the right instead of the left. The person who just can't follow the rapid-fire directions of the instructor as he leads a room full of seasoned gym goers through ever more complicated steps.
I wanted something which was effective for me and tailored to my needs. At Bria I got that personalized attention. My instructor started out by assessing my strengths and weaknesses. I learned that while I had done well by developing certain muscle groups, I had neglected others (which could make me more susceptible to certain injuries down the line).
I have worked with several different instructors through private sessions. I can't tell you how much it helps to have someone focused solely upon you. From just a glance, my instructors can tell when I'm using the wrong muscle group or when I'm using the wrong form. They also add intuitive explanations for why I should move in a certain way and how I can tell when I'm doing it right. I can't tell you how great it feels to have finished a workout knowing that you've done your best, and that your hard work will have real tangible benefits. You just have to experience it for yourself. After all, shouldn’t you make your workout work for you?
Bria is truly the best! – I am celebrating my one year Pilates anniversary and membership at Bria. I just can't get enough! Misty's staff has helped shaped my lifelong commitment to my body and fitness. I was able to 100% correct my scoliosis. Thanks again for a great experience!
Hip hip hooray Pilates!!! – Wow!!! Thank goodness, that my curiosity killed the cat :o) I had been yearning to get motivated and inspired to work out again and finding it super difficult... That is until I stopped in to see what Bria and Pilates was all about. Being a pure virgin to this type of exercise, I wasn't sure if this would fit my agenda. Man oh man was I impressed, not only were they super helpful answering all of my questions, but they also got me set up with a private session to see what I was getting into and a plan for the next two months. Can't wait to get into the nitty gritty of it all :o) I highly recommend Bria!!!
Bria is AMAZING – Bria is amazing! My experience at Bria has been completely life changing for me. The staff is professional, helpful, and true experts in their field. The class sizes are small, which allows the instructors to give individual attention to each person in class.
I walked into Bria 2.5 months ago after recovering from a running injury made worse at Inspire SPX/Pilates on Queen Anne. In my first session with Natalie, she pointed out all of the same weaknesses and misalignments that my PT had also identified. Over the 10 privates I took with Natalie, her primary concern was that I learn how to do the excercises safely and in a form adjusted to my body type.
Since, I've been going to classes almost daily (the unlimited package is a great deal!), and feel stronger than I've ever felt in my life. Each instructor has their own unique strengths and deep knowledge of the human body. I learn something new in each class I take. I also love the fact that the instructors are very attentive and correct my movement when I'm out of form.
I'm running again, and for the first time I have definition in my arms! No more flabby tricepts! Thank you Bria!

From day one (even just being on the phone), everyone is so helpful and sweet. I had a bad car accident a year ago and Natalie has been an amazing teacher and supporter during my healing. I have been doing pilates for many years prior at home and realized that what I was doing was NOT 'true' pilates. I have improved my form, posture, and am in process of restrengthing my whole body. Everyone is a true professional in all ways. The energy and atmosphere are in a great . There are two really amazing massage therapists and an esthetician!
