Have a bottle of wine and bring the kids. My wife an I enjoy small trendy resturants but most do not accomodate our children with ease. Pizza Nea has quickly become a family favorite. My wife loves the Caprino pizza and the wine selection. Our kids love the small pizza's and beg to got to Pizza Nea. The service has always been very friendly and helpful. On a couple of occasions the server brough our girls hot chocolate servered in small cups and remembered the pizza's we tried on our last visit. She also remembered that we like plastic cups for our girls which was a nice personal touch to our experience. Our last visit was on a Saturday night and it was not very busy. It is a great place to meet your friends for dinner and you can bring along the kids and still feel welcomed. Parking and finding Pizza Nea will be the only discomfort in your experience.
Best pizza anywhere!. A wonderful place to go for pizza. Services is good, and it's usually not too busy so it's good to go with friends. They have wonderful happy hour, and their outside dining isn't too bad. I would return to this place.
delicious pizza, friendly waitstaff. Pizza Nea has great oven-baked pizza, similair to other neopolitan chains. The food always tastes and looks fresh. The ambiance is intimate, considering it's in a strip mall. The pizzas are probably big enough for two if you also get a salad, but I like to get my own and have lunch for the next day. The wait staff has always been friendly without being unprofessional, and the manager/owner has always been there making sure our experience was positive.
Local favorite's second spot offers 28 variations of pizza rosso (red sauce) and pizza blanco (white sauce) on Uptown's Lake Street..
In Short
With full-length windows wrapping three sides and counter seating making up the fourth, this Italian pizzeria promises good views all around. Mural-size artwork, wood floors and a full bar complete the stylish atmosphere. Weekend Uptown shoppers and nighttime dining crowds enjoy spinach and boscaiola focaccia, caprese salads or a red-sauced Neapolitan pizza decked with fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, smoked mozzarella and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses. Although the menu is mostly in Italian, it does offer a phonetic pronunciation guide.
