Great Mojitoes and Food! – My friends and I were down in the Aspen Grove Center Shopping and we saw this restaurant, so we decided to have dinner there.. The bartender makes the best mojitoes!! It was so refreshing and I tried their tuna ceviche and seabass entree... it was out of this world! Kudos!! Ask for for the Raspberry Mojito it was the best!

great place for us to hangout and great food, I wish there are more places like this in Littleton.

Not worthy of a second visit – A friend had recommended Table Mesa, so arranged to meet a group of friends for dinner. I was embarassed to have chosen this place. The service was extremely SLOW- we had a large party and had made a reservation in advance, so they knew we were coming. Restaurant was not busy .The food was overpriced. I had the chicken mole and hubby had the pork burrito. Main dish was descent, but each dish came just with a glob of red colored flavorless white rice called 'tomato rice'. In fact, each dish in our large party had the exact same bland rice on the plate, no matter if tacos, fish, chicken or burrito. Had the chocolate cake for desert that claimed to have Kahlua sauce and Kahlua creme, but came without sauce and no hint of Kahlua. Cream sauce tasted a bit sour.

Pros: not sure of any

Cons: slow service, overpriced, food lacked charisma and flavor

Would not recommend and would not return.

Excellent meal.. – I have frequent this restaurant, and I really think this is an excellent place for family.. we have two children and the restaurant has a good selection of kids menus and the food has always been excellent. We love the magarita there, it is so good! The service is good, and the food is great. the only thing is on weekend you probably wanted to make a reservation, because it can be crowded. Kudos! Please keep up the good work.

Unique Experience - one of a kind – After reading reviews of Table Mesa, my husband and I decided to make a reservation and give this new restaurant a try. Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted by a hostess. We decided to sit in a corner booth as we like kind like a quiet setting. Upon browsing the menu, we have notice that this restaurant has a great wine selection, and an awesome seafood menu. At first we thought this place will be more of a typical mexican restaurant, but to our delight the menu is more than your typical mexican fare. There are nice Spanish dishes, cuban dishes along with some tapas items.

All in all, the service was great and food is awesome! definitely try the mahi and the duck! It is hard to find a unique restaurant among the chain restaurants nowadays, we definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants more than just the typical chain restaurant food.

Bizarre Japanese-Tex Mex Experience – On a whim, my family and I thought we'd give Table Mesa a shot. We were immediately met by a host who showed us to our table, and the service, which was good, proved to be our only positive experience. After we were settled, we noticed the asian cuisine influence permeated the restaurant (we thought we were in the wrong place), down to the music piping through the restaurant. The menu was fine, and our food was OK, although there was no hint of either lime or cilantro in the lime-cilantro rice, and we were served what must have been simply steamed rice. The refried beans were from a can, and the tortilla chips were from the store. My young son ordered a kid's meal, which appeared to be OK at first glance (although it was served in a bento box, which was more humorous than anything). However, as my wife and I were speaking our little one noticed a fruit fly in the fruit; we took a closer look at his meal and the fruit was in terrible shape. Although I've never eaten in a restaurant that copied the previous cuisine right down to the music, I understand that it probably happens; however, this restaurant should give some effort to distinguish itself in some way. The final touch was paying for our lunch, it was rather expensive for 2 adults and a 2-year old child. I think for paying such a hefty price for lunch, we expect more. Our mistake, we won't be back.

Good food, good service.. awesome ceviche!! – My wife and I went to Table Mesa after we heard good things about it from our neighbors, boy were we in for a surpise! We didn't expect to find true authentic ceviche from this joint. Ceviche was amazing, my wife had the sea bass entree which was very savory and flavorful, I had the salmon which was spicy and great! We will definitely be coming back for more.. please add another magrita for me as well!

I must have been at the wrong place based on the other reviews – Well I figured I would try this place out based on the other rave reviews. Not a good idea! It is a sub-par restaurant with overpriced food. To begin with, the house margaritas are boasted that they are made with their own concoction of sweet and sour mix. Well whoever made ours must have forgot the sweet part because it was like sucking on a lemon. They were way to sour - thank goodness for the salt on the rim, that is the only way I made it through the whole thing at a cost of $7. Now onto the food. The chips and salsa appetizer came with about 3 teaspoons of salsa, and I can get better salsa at an authentic mexican restaurant for free. The cheese and potato enchiladas were decent, but nothing to rave about. And again, they came with about 3 teaspoons of unflavorful beans, and no flavor rice. If I am going to pay $15 for an entree, I expect there to be something on the plate to eat! So I wish I had something good to say about the service, but that was horrible too. Every time we needed something at our table we had to literally flag our server down. And to boot, there were only 3 tables in the WHOLE restaurant. He was oblivious and unexperienced! Another negative, as if we need more, were the bathrooms. The womens bathroom mirrored looked as if it had not been cleaned in 2 weeks. It was covered with water marks and streaks from where someone did a half-ass job of trying to clean it. The vanity also was filthy and it was obvious they do not do hourly bathroom checks at this joint! The last kicker of the whole experience was the disgusting sewer smell that kept wafting by our table every time the kitchen door opened. Oh that too- the whole restaurant is empty and they choose to put us at a booth 5 feet from the kitchen door.

This place will not stay in business! Dont waste your time or money going there! We could of had better food, drinks and service at half the price next door at Champps.

Unbelievable Food and Service!!!!! – I have to say that the food and service are spectacular! The menu is full of options and the chef adds artistic expression to every savory bite! His creativity and willingness to work with your palet (just ask) is something you rarely see at Denver Restaurants. The service is nothing short of fabulous and the staff treats you as though you are the only one in the restaurant. Every experience at Table Mesa has been positive and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking fine dining! Kudos to Jamil and his staff for every wonderful dining experience~

I wish that there were more stars!!!! – We stopped by just out of curiosity and discovered an absolutely wonderful place. We enjoyed sushi quality fish for our cevche with a combo of shrimp, sea bass and mahi-mahi in the sour orange and oregano sauce. DANG! I was impressed. Our waiter suggested the lamb shank for my wife (out of about four other choices) and she was in heaven. I had the Lechon pork which is about as perfect as a pork lover could hope for. Desert was the tres leches cake with caramelized bananas. Our waiter suggested a desert wine (sorry that I do not remember the brand) and urged us to try it with the bananas. Once again- DANG! I really hope these guys make it in such a suburban location. If this place was in LoDo or the (gag) South Pearl district, we would not be able to get a seat. Take the Light Rail to Aspen Grove and check this place out. This is a great place with some cool folks trying to help a chef live his dream. The food is outstanding and I would say that thinking out of the box a bit might reap some big rewards!

Newly Weds say WOW! – I can't say enough about Table Mesa. My husband and I went to this site when it was Kyoto and were mildly impressed. We went back a few months later to realize that it was now Table Mesa. Being that my husband is a Texan, born in New Mexico, and also a chef, finding Mexican food that he is pleased with in Colorado is needless to say, difficult. Around the time of our first visit, we were engaged and on the lookout for a rehearsal dinner spot. After one meal at Table Mesa we were absolutely sold. We were greeted warmly. Our server was extremely attentive but not overbearing. She was very capable of making recommendations. Overall we had an amazing experience. We decided right then and there that this was going to be the place for our rehearsal dinner. We spoke that day with Jamil, the general manager, and set it up. We were able to choose our own menu and Jamil worked with us on a wine menu that would complement the meal. Nearly one month ago, my husband and I welcomed our friends and family to join us at Table Mesa for our last meal before our wedding. Jamil, as always, was there to ensure that our experience was memorable. Everything was perfect. The meal chef Roeder prepared for us was delicious, the servers were attentive and friendly, and a great time was had by all of our out of town guests. My husband and I plan to frequent Table Mesa often. They have an amazing pumpkin soup during the winter, and I can't wait to see what seasonal changes will happen for the spring. Even my husband can't say enough about it. Coming from a chef, that is a big deal. In a tepid sea of chain restaurants and sub par food, Table Mesa is a breath of fresh air.
