Fantastic Salon. I have been going to Scappare for over 2 years and highly recommend it to friends and family.

In over two years of both salon and spa appointments, I have NEVER had any issues with any of the people at the front desk. Appointments and handled expertly by friendly staff. I'm not sure who the reviewers with issues worked with, but I'd be willing to be they are no longer employed by Scappare. I usually work with Olga and she is great.

Bridget is hands down the best stylist I have ever seen. Friendly, open, approachable and talented.

Massages are PHENOMENAL and the massage room in the new buidling is so nice!

Both Tammy and Bob do a great job with nails. I have had several pedicures with both.

Do not hesitate to book an appointment at Scappare.

Nightmare Receptionist. Every year my mom and I get a massage for her birthday. So three weeks prior to her b-day, I called Scappare and made two massage appts for the same time. I also had a discussion with the receptionist that we wanted Swedish massages and NOT deep tissue. About a week later the salon called and said they had to move the appts. because we wanted deep tissue, which we wanted the opposite. After a rude conversation with the aggressive receptionist my mom just decided to cancel. When I arrived home, I called the salon to ask what the mix-up was all about, and the receptionist actually said they only have one massage bed. Who works as a receptionist for a salon and does not even know this most basic information? I also had a bad experience there a few years ago, when I took my mom for a birthday pedicure. We booked them at the same time, but they only had 1 pedicurist, thus we were there for about 3 hours and almost missed our dinner reservation. I'm done with this place!

Wonderful Experience. I am a client of Scappare Salon and have been for a couple of years. It is a wonderful place where the staff makes you feel at home. Everyone is very friendly. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my hair. Jessica Jefferie is my stylist. I have seen Jessy and Nicole as well. They are also just as good. I have short hair and have been other places, and it is not the same. You get what you pay for! I would highly recommend this salon.

Beautiful Salon. Having lived in the area for several years I have always wanted to try Salon Scappare. I was hesitant because of the cost $40 - $50 for a haircut . I had my first cut there this weekend and it's a wreck! It is uneven and won't blend. I am soooo disappointed, I wouldn't have expected this quality of cut from an exclusive salon. I had a better cut when I went to the beauty school.

unhappy w/service & handling of same. On June 3rd I had an appointment for a full pedicure & manicure that included putting tips to make long nails on. Being unsure what to call them I explained in detail what I needed and that it was my son's wedding. So really nice was the goal. This company came highly recommended so I made the appointment. When I got there the receptionist had made the appointment incorrect and didn't allow enough time for the nails. I was leaving the next morning at 6AM (wedding out of town). There was no time for error here. The pedicurist said they would see if they had someone else to do the nails and went ahead with the pedicure. by the time I found out that it couldn't be done I had most of the pedicure finished. I didn't know what to do, I paid and left. Very upset knowing that I still needed to have the work done elsewhere. I had to have both pedicure and nails done again to have them matching. So I paid $62.00 + tip for nothing. OH THEY DID GIVE ME A 15% COUPON FOR A RETURN VISIT. When I returned from the wedding...I went back. The young woman at the counter (I returned a bottle of polish that Bob gave me in case the new manicurist wanted to use it to match his work) and the coupon. No refund...no offer to redo as a complimentary for their error and costing me much more money, nada, just I'm sorry have a nice day! This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. There are so many respectable & reputable places available so my recommendation is to move on to the next business in the phone book.

Gr8 Service. I had an appointment yesterday morning. It was first thing on a monday. My stylist Kristan did absolutely beautiful work. Family, friends & co-workers love the new do. I am definitely referring people to the salon as well as Kristan. Monday morning everyone there was very congenial. The experience was worth the drive that was approximately an hour & a half to get to the salon. It was easy to get to & worth the drive. Thanking you again & I will see everyone again.

Best Salon/Massage/Pedicures...you name it!. I grew up in salons, with a mother who did fantastic hair. Living 3000 miles from her has proved to be be hair-challenging. Scappare ended my never-ending plight to find the best hair dressers! Not only do my color and hi-lights always look sharp and shiny, but the massages by Amanada can't be beat. She focuses on each ailment and needing muscle better than a doctor in my opinion!

Sitting in relaxing spa pedicures where techs give great attention to not only my nails, but the over all well being of my feet is refreshing. Their aim is to make me the most comfortable and beautiful I can be.

I often feel like the art of beauty is so well portrayed at Scappare, reminding me of ancient times when women relaxed around great spas and being pampered.

Scappare offers refreshments and snacks to all of their clients, and leaves no stone unturned. The belief that the client is not only a canvas but a person who needs a momentary escape, is strongly upheld. The name Scappare is truly appropriate. I would drive an hour or a week to keep my hair and demeanor in check at Scappare Salon.

My hair has never been in better hands!. I was recommended to Salon Scapparre and decided to give them a try. It is about a 30 minute drive from my house, but well worth the travel.

Jean and Kristen are the BEST! I am a stylist myself and finding someone to do MY hair is always a challenge. Either stylists don't listen to their clients or assume the client knows nothing about hair.

This was NOT the case at Salon Scapparre. Jean is very open to ideas and didn't automatically assume I knew nothing about hair. She was very thourough when determining what I wanted and made reccomendations based on what I wanted to accomplish.

Kristen did my hair while Jean was out on maternity and there wasn't a blip in the quality of service. I was just as happy as I am when Jean is doing my hair. This is a huge plus to be able to use another stylist in a salon and be just as satisfied as if your regular stylist had provided your service.

Salon Scapparre's atmosphere is very relaxing and elegant. From their Live piano player to the coffe/tea bar, to the eclectic decor, you are sure to feel like a celebrity without the celeb price. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Day spas near my home are 20-30% higher priced than what I regularly pay here.

I would recommend either of these ladies in a heartbeat (and have!)!

WARNING!! DONT GO HERE. This salon was not worth the prices it charged. My hair was fried from the color and my hair cute was way uneven. I felt like i was sitting in a factory were i was so rushed. It was beautiful but the staff was snotty. The owners need to get a clue and educate that staff.

Best place for any salon needs. Salon Scappare is the best salon I have ever been to. I got my nails done for my wedding, they looked fabulous and they held up for a long time. I would recommend Pam, the nail tech, to all my girlfriends. Also the purses and jewelry are gorgeous. It has the big city feel in South Lyon. Everyone is very friendly and very trendy. I look forward to the days I get to spend in the salon. This salon is a great addition to the town.
