Hearty pizzas, an extensive beer selection and sports on TVs make this a casual hangout for large groups..
In Short
This neighborly pizza-and-subs restaurant is a sports lovers' haven, with its plasma TVs, numerous beer signs and Chicago sports team paraphernalia. But the casual, tavern-like vibe also draws groups of professionals, families and couples who sit in overstuffed booths to enjoy steaming deep dish. As the night goes on, younger crowds mingle while enjoying a selection of over 110 beers.
Chain with a local feel. You know what you're getting with the food, because it's the same at Old Chicago's everywhere. But the bar here has a great friendly, local feel to it that makes you forget you're in a chain restaurant. A lot of that can be attributed to the fact that there is a dearth of decent bars in the surrounding area, I guess. But the service here is great, I've noticed a lot of the people there have been working there for years. Bartenders are great, so are the servers. Solid, fun place. Old C's food is not too fantastic though. And parking on a really busy day/night can be a headache.
Not Great. First time i have been to Colorado Springs. The Old Chicago in Omaha NE does not have pool or any games. The music sucked so did the serivce. We ordered drinks 20 min later that still had not come we went up to the bar to get them and the bartender did say sorry the waitress finally came back and then said he forgot about us. Their was a loud drunk in the bar which know-one ever came to say you are too loud. A lady walking anround in her bar feet in the bar..Giving all of athletes foot fonges.......So this in my review
