We ordered a very expensive stroller that was promised to be delivered in 5 days. After 5 days we got no call backs.
Lie#1:
10 days after purchase the owner said that there was a delay in FedEx because of the bad weather in Memphis at their HQ.They gave us the tracking # to confirm, so sure enough the record came up as service delay, which jived. But then I remembered the owner had said that it was being shipped FedEx ground, so I called FedEx. They said Ground Shipments were not affected by the service disruption in Memphis.
Lie#2: The FedEx info said the shipment was sent from CA. I called the company, they don't ship out of CA.
Lie #3: Another week later when there was still no sign of the stroller and no return phone calls, we finally got the owner on the phone who said that because of the service disruption they sent everything back to its original point of shipment. I called FedEx. They said they never do that, ever.
We regret that you were not happy with your order experience at Mila Lilu. Unfortunately, we depend on information that vendors provide to us and sometimes it is untimely or unreliable. We hope that you are happy with your stroller and we hope that you see value in having purchased your stroller at our store. We offer personal service should you ever need any upkeep including inflating your tires, replacing parts, etc.

great baby place. this place has very present owners. they have great stuff, and they will help you bring stuff out to your car. which is great if you have a young toddler that you need two hands on at all times.
lovely place. I went there looking for the miamoda cielo because I was having a hard time finding it elsewhere. Not only did they have it there but the guy (the husband of the owner) took me through the whole set up. I wanted to look at his other lightweight stuff and he took me through three different ones. Then once i had made my purchase he walked everything out to the car for me. He had such patience with me, Im a very picky nerotic person when it comes to my strollers. Most places just point you in the right direction but he was so helpful. There clothes and other stuff is really cute too!
Surprised by Bad Delivery and Service. I like to support small businesses and saw that this one had great reviews. I ordered a $575 high chair as a gift and the store kindly offers free shipping on all orders more than $100. I specified that the high chair would need to be shipped to the recipient's home instead of my address because I live in a condo and packages are simply left by the front door of the building (while we don't normally have many thefts, I did not want a $575 item sitting where anybody could just walk by and take it). Milalilu called me when the high chair was delivered to their store and said they were going to send it out, but after 3 weeks the chair had still not been delivered. I called the store, they were nice, and said they would send the chair out, so I confirmed the delivery address again. I politely called 3 more times over the month and a half because the chair was still never sent out--each time they said it was still in the store, apologized, and said they would send it. When more than a total of 2 months passed, I called again, they apologized and said they would sent it. When they FINALLY sent the chair, they sent it to my condo--exactly what I had asked them each time NOT to do! The box sat there for a week since I do not use the front entrance to my building and anybody could have walked off with a $575 gift! I was pretty patient about their repeated delays in sending out the item, but sending it to my condo on top of it all shows overall poor customer service.
We sincerely apologize for the mix-up and hope that you would be able to forgive this experience. It is no excuse, but we had some new staff members at the time who were confused and should have sent the chair to the recipient as soon as possible. We are very embarrassed about this and hope that you would give us a chance to change your mind. Thank you.
Best Online Store. I found the website and contacted Milalilu about purchasing two new model high chairs that hadn't yet come out. The owner, Nikol made me feel like her best customer and personally took care of my order. I received the wrong colors (manufacturer's error) & Nikol took care of the situation without hesitation. She answered my emails and sent me updates. They are awesome & I will be a longtime customer!!!!
Easy shopping.
This is my new favorite place to buy kid's stuff. Can't go wrong with anything you pick in here. Holiday shopping is normally such a headache. I went to Citysearch and found this place. Not in a mall, thank god, parking available, and the selection is indeed great.
I ended up buying a few gift cards as presents which were then wrapped beautifully and put in adorable bags. I normally hate giving gift cards as presents because they seem impersonal. But this is a place I will gladly do that in. The owner is so into every item in there that you can truly tell that everything was hand picked with a lot of thought put into it. Giving a gift card to this place will introduce them to it and I'm sure they'll thank me for it once they come check it out.
Thanks a lot to the owner, who was helping me when I was there. I took a lot of your time and ended up getting gift cards! All your suggestions were great and I'm sure they'll end up getting a few of the things you pointed out. I may stop by one of these days and pick up one of those funky car toys for my boyfriend!
Staff is the Best and they have GREAT Toddler Shoes and SAFE Toys. I originally stopped my Milalilu because they carried a wide variety of See Kai Run Shoes. The experience was so good, I have continued to shop there for the past 2 years. Not only do they have great, unique and SAFE (eg:Haba, Baby Bjorn) products, the staff is top notch. As you know, bringing a toddler into a store can be stressful. I have gone to other "baby boutiques" and the staff seems annoyed at times that my daughter wanted to touch and play with things in the store. At Milalilu, the staff had no problems with my daughter walking around and playing with the toys, reading the books, or grabbing shoes. In fact, they have a great basket of toys for kids to play with. My daughter loves to sit in their Big Red Car and play while I shop. The staff is always attentive and willing to order something if they don't carry it in-store. The shoe slection is great and if you are looking for one of a kind gifts and toys, this is the place to go. They have a little of everything..Milalilu is close to my home in West Roxbury, right off Rte 9 near Chestnut Hill Mall. Parking is on street but easy and there are always spaces. Don't be afraid to bring your child, no snooby sales people here!! Triple LOVE it!!
Very cool high chair. I'm new to town so I looked around Citysearch for just about everything. This store was one of those that I planned on visiting and never got around to even though it has amazing reviews. Finally I saw an article on the Boston Globe about one of their high chairs and it made me walk through that door. Now that our home is almost completely decorated I felt it was time to finally get our little one his high chair. The chair is not ready to be delivered yet so I spent a good amount of time browsing everything else in the store. Just wonderful things. A very friendly atmosphere. I ran into another mom there and she could not say enough good things about the place and I could see why. I've since gone to some other places and feel comfortable in writing this review saying it's the best children's store in Boston.

This is the best baby store I've ever been in.
I found them through an article that I read in Boston Common magazine and I gave them a visit. What I love about this place is that the products are amazing, but more importantly how the staff (I spoke to Nikol, who's the owner) is so knowledgeable about not only everything in the store but stuff they don't carry also. She has amazing taste and a very good eye for fashion and stylish products. That extends from picking great things to sell in the store and to mix and match what they have to set my child apart.
This is the perfect place to outfit your child and outfit your house with children's things. The staff talks to you as if they're long time friends. They point out what is good and more importantly, what's bad. Nikol showed me things that they were expecting to get and when he product would be released and other information other stores wouldn't bother with.
Best baby store I've been in. Awesome customer service..

I wanted to add that it deserves all the praise and then some. Just the best shopping experience in Boston.
