Eternal Springs Spa at Omni Bedford Springs.
While very pricey $160 for a spa treatment, it was so worth it.
Anna, who gave me a detoxifying mud wrap, also massaged my face and scalp. Then she rinsed the mud with a a lengthy mineral water treatment. Afterwards she gave me a light massage with green tea lotion. It was 80 minutes of heaven, and I left with skin that is still glowing.
Visit this beautiful resort and don't forget the Bedford Bath ritual before your spa treatment-- which you must have!
Citysearch Editorial Review. Before this Allegheny Mountain property was renovated to become the resort it is today, the original stone inn and its eight mineral springs made it a historic gathering place for visitors in search of the water's purported curative properties. A restoration and renovation project in 2004 turned it into a spot fit for both a relaxing spa destination an action-packed family vacation. The hotel's cozy but posh historic wing houses the grand lobby where tea is held each afternoon, as well as the three main restaurants. Wander through the lobby and take a seat in the library to read, work on a puzzle or play chess. The modern spa wing boasts a handful of suites and closer access to the fabled Springs Eternal Spa, where guests still "take the waters."
