Always a great time, great value and great food!.
We love to eat at Casa Real and do so probably several times a week now. There are a number of authentic dishes available, but the ones that are not are more to serve the Taco Bell culture. So really, there is something for everyone here. Meals arrive quickly, even on busy nights, the live music is fun, the servers are all jovial and warm. English is not the first language of a lot of the employees, so speaking clearly and on-topic (food/menu) is a good way to address that. NOTE: The Cadillac Margaritas (on the rocks) are to die for; best margarita ever. And we are experts on that. ;-)
Suggestions... El Juanito is a great entree; Queso Fundido is an excellent, if artery-hardening appetizer; and the made-from-scratch guacamole is fabulous as a topping or side.
Enjoy!
P.S. They DO have a botana, and a respectable one at that.

Bad Mexican.
This was an awful mexican restaurant; if anyone knows theres a difference between authentic mexican food and south american food its me. because we as americans think all hispanics are mexican, I guess this makes sense. It took forever to be seated, once we were seated I asked if they serve bontanas, the waitress looked at me as if I was the dumbest person that ever walked the earth, I then had to explain what they were and she said no, again, looking at me like there was nothing up there, it took an 1hour and 1/2 to finally get food where it was cold and not so fresh looking, dont eat here if your looking for a mexican restaurant, go down to lake orion.
