Not the best but not the worst either – Was in Langhorne for a Soccer Tournament DEC 08. Bread is Excellent. Meat is thin, only one slice about a sixteenth of a inch thick. Tasted like the "Steak-em" that you buy in the supermarket but on a positive note, it wasn't greasy. Sorry working class heroes but it's worth the drive to S. Philly to Tony Luke.
STEAK SANDWICHES IN PARIDISE! – THE BEST STEAKS IN PHILLY IF YOU DON'T LIKE A GREASY STEAK SANDWICH & YOU PREFER THE MEAT NOT TO BE CHOPPED UP!! i LIKE BOTH! LOL! TRY A DOUBLE MEAT WITH EXTRA AMERICAN CHEESE WITH FRIED ONIONS & SPICY FRIES WITH OR WITHOUT CHEESES!!! I LIKE TO GET THE CHERRY SODA WITH CHOCOLATE SYRUP ADDED!! YUMMY!!
TRY THEIR CHEESE BURGERS!! TASTE LIKE A REAL GOOD WENDY BURGER! A LOT OF MEAT!! EXCELLENT!! MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE BURGER BUNS ARE TOO SOFT & FALL APART WHEN EATING IT! Thick WHITE ITALIAN BREAD WOULD BE A BETTER IDEA! IN FACT, WHITE BREAD WAS THE FIRST BREAD USED WHEN A HAMBURGER WAS INVENTED AT LOUIE'S HAMBURGERS SOMEWHERE OUT WEST! THICK POTATO BREAD OR KAISER ROLLS WOULD BE BETTER ALSO!!
THE BEST STEAKS EVER, DON'T AVOID EVER!!! – That guy with the bad review is probally one of those mercedes driving fortune 500 company owning yuppies. If you're blue collar, average guy or a Philly lover this is your steak... THE BEST STEAKS EVER!!! For the philly best you want "a steak whiz with" That's the shiznit right there. Yo Kooch75 go back to to Newtown and eat at La Stalla if you don't want some real food with a city taste.
Worst Cheese Steak, Avoid if possible – This has to be worst cheese steak know to man. It was made like a deli sandwich where 1/8" slices of meat are thinly layered and then the other items are put on top. Assembly line build and the taste reflects it.
Other places cook good paper thin meat and other items (onions, peppers, etc.), and mix them together so the flavors blend. Then put the cheese on top, still while it's cooking, then place it on a nice bun. Mmmm, right? You know what I'm talking about here.
The did have some condiments on a bar outside which included items such as ketchup, mustard, pickles, banana peppers, hot peppers, and hot sauce. The variety was not a big as others, but all the basics are covered) and kept fairly clean.
Go elsewhere if you're looking for true cheese steak taste.
Just my $0.02.
No doubt... – ...The Prince makes the greatest steaks. You'll definitely leave saying, "this is the best steak I've ever had!" They even have instructions on "how to order" for all the newbs.
Editorial Review – This Northeast Philadelphia cheesesteak outpost, located between Levittown and Langhorne, serves it up with wiz, American or provolone.
