They sprayed grease cleaner over your food – We had lunch there right after they opened (around 11:20am) on Thursday. I saw that a lady waitress was cleaning and wiping the glass above the sushi and seafood bars, using grease cleaner. And the food was not covered by anything! I assumed that she had done the same thing to other food bars! I told one of the waiters about this situation and he was reluctant to stop her because she was the restaurant owner. Then she cleaned the glasses of the rest of the food bars with grease cleaner before more customers came in.
Dont get eating after 8:00 pm. All junk left !!! – Ladies and Gentlemen,
I just want to share you a short thing that don't get to this restaurant eat so late, because they will stop service and cook out a new food for you. There is weird thing that you never thought about it, i asked them when they bring out some new food cooks; a lady manager service said they bring out soon and i have to wait on line to get the food and i have to wait so long. So, can you tell me what is the buffet? Is that mean they have to cook all foods ready service for customer, isn't it ? I don't care how much they charge for, but they have to bring out enough food for customer.
Not bad – I have stopped into this place 3 times now with a friend of mine for lunch. If you go at 11 right when they open you can get out in about 30 minutes so its not a bad place for a quick bite. I enjoyed the selection, everything was fairly good and the BBQ had a bunch of different sauces to pick from. Overall I have had better but its one of the better places in Mary land heights.
How Nice! – I first went there three years ago on a whim because i was tired of all the other Chinese food eateries in town and needed something new. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and price. The only downfall is the occasional bad cut of meat, but that is easily counterbalanced by the quality of the vegetables and the great service. While the price is a little high it is worth it 100%.
SMELLS LIKE AUSTINE AFTER HE GOES POOOOOOOO – I cant take it I walk in and theres this hugs chinese kid named Austine Chong. He keeps eating all of the freakin food so I basically starved. All they had was soy milk and freakin sierra mist. When you walk in they make you rub the belly of this huge chinese statue. it really creeped me out. Worst of all it smelled absolutely horrible. I couldn't stand the stench. Even the great Roscoe Jenkins said it smelled like a pile of sweaty chongs. Everything was soiled and my boyfriend Ken Harvey was appalled at all the of the latrells who wanted fried chicken but couldnt get any. My great friend Marshawn Lynch described this place as a huge latrell and Chong gathering. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PARTAKE IN THIS TYPE OF DINING EXPERIENCE again.
It's worth it! – No it;s not somewhere you would take a first date. Not some place you would go for a quiet evening...it's a buffet for crying out loud! All you can eat crab legs are on the Harrahs...help yourself. I think this is a good place to go for a good reasonable priced meal. If you work in the Maryland Heights area this is a good place to go on a lunch break...in and out in no time. The service is fast. Go eat, talk, have fun....it's a buffet!
Expensive Buffet - Large variety - no crab legs – Here comes a review about this buffet. When you enter this place you may think, you enter a huge railway waiting hall. It is noisy and offers no romantic ambiente at all. This restaurant has several counters, from which you can choose from. Seafood, mongolian bbq and sushi is also available. The mongolian barbecue I can not recommend to you as there are better ones around Saint Louis. They do not serve crab legs! The dinner price on a weekend ( January 2009 )( Friday, Saturday & Sunday ) is expensive. You have to pay $15 with soft drink refill plus additional 10% service for the waiters and waitresses. Don't expect Coca Cola or Pepsi, all you get is Sierra Mist and other drinks from that company. Obviously these drinks are the cheapest to supply to customers. You will find standard desserts and an ice cream machine. They also have a freezer where you can get several ice cream flavors from cans. I do not recommend this as many customers get ice out from the containers and replace it as they change the flavors occasionally. And who wants to take out what others already had taken out. The buffet is also ideal for larger groups. However, for the high price you have to pay, crab legs should be included, which are not. Final thought, a buffet you can try, but not a place to have great fun.
DIS BE AUSTINE!!! – Ryce is not on my recomendation list. The meal i partaked in was not delectable. It was not very clean and, it was not a very pleasent smelling place. In my opinion it smelled like old cookies.
Best regards, Austine Chong
Fun AND Delicious! – OH WOW! This place is fantastic. There is so much to choose from and.... everything I had was just so good. The buffet was kept up very well. The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the wait-staff was friendly. My boyfriend and I ended up having such a good time together. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.
Yes, the price is a little high but, you have such a wide array of entrees, desserts, fruit and sides to choose from. You could go there a dozen times and find something you might not have seen there before.
I am very particular about restaurants and I was very happy with this place. The Mongolian Barbecue was DELICIOUS, too!
