soggy food – RC Fowlers is a pretty decent place to get a drink but please do not eat here. Last week in a moment of weakness we ate at Fowlers and now remember why it's a mistake. Fowlers has horrible prices for their appetizers, their fried pickles start at $8.00 and were severly undercooked and tastless. The wings are okay, really the sauce is the best part about ordering the wings here since these folks serve up old chicken that is suspiciously black in some areas. The thing that scares me the most about this place is that the celery they serve with the wings is so old (really discolored and soggy) it makes me wonder how long they keep the food before it's too old to use. The burgers are tastless and dry, the fries are mediocre and their nachos are a disgusting abomination slathered in bbq sauce, dry chicken and old onions. The bartenders are pretty decent and the servers can be cute but the food is to be avoided at all costs.
DON'T RISK YOUR HEALTH – Funny story, I used to work here... it was alright but I always felt a huge need to warn people that they might be leaving with salmanila. They leave the uncooked wings out in the open kitchen for hours and hours! One time I arrived at four, got to working, went to the kitchen at about ten and they were still sitting in the same place! They don't even have a sink/soap for the cooks in the back! If you are planning on going just for the liquor... Don't expect that the health-code compliance is any different behind the bar! Plus don't plan on having a good drink past seven considering both the bar-tenders are going to be intoxicated with the rest of the drunks! most of the servers are all completly incompetent being that they are all 17-18 year old girls (despite the fact that this IS ILLEGAL!!) If you really want to contribute your hard earned dollars to a bar that is known for its coke-heads, under-age serving, over-serving, and the fact that they break child-labor laws... Be my guest! you'll fit right in! Otherwise go someplace else!
I live very close to this particular eating establishment. I have seen it a lot when frequenting a place nearby.
I decided to give it a try as an alternative to cooking one evening. I ordered several items from the menu to go for myself, my son, and my wife. Upon our opening up the dishes we found that there were 2, not 1 but 2 DEAD INSECTS mixed in our food. I was so livid I decided it would be better not to address the location as I have a short temper. My much calmer and nicer wife suggested I let people know via the internet that THIS PLACE SHOULD BE AVOIDED! What has to be going on there for an incident of this nature to happen? How often does it happen? I don't want to know. Unless you really want to find out the answer for yourself I repeat. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!
Best WINGS I ever had – Man the wings there are great. It is definetly the biggest wings I have seen anywhere compared to any other place. I really enjoyed their pizzas as well, it tastes as if it was made from scratch. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Cold food and not worth the price – I took my parents out to eat here and I have to say it was the worst experience. The food was cold and I had the impression it was bought from the nearest grocery store in the frozen food section and simply nuked prior to being brought to the table. The wings certainly tasted this way. One wing was still frozen inside! The pizza was a joke and, once more, cold. The cheese wasn't even melted.
The waitstaff consisted of a group of teenagers. I think I saw one adult working there.
