Revolving sushi bar. Cheap quick place to eat alone when on the run and trying to be healthy.

Cheap eats on a conveyor belt in Koreatown – There's something oddly compelling about having your food served on a conveyor belt. So, when I heard about Fat Fish and its $2 plates after 8pm that I could pick as I please while they wheeled by me, I was sold.

The decor is sleek and modern while the service is extremely friendly and attentive.

The selection is very new-school sushi. It's not for people looking for that amazingly buttery and fresh slice of sashimi or nigiri. The closest thing would be my favorite plate of the night-- seared albacore slices with caramelized onion. If you're looking for a cheap place to eat sushi packed with the crunchy-based rolls and staples such as salmon avocado rolls, spicy tuna rolls, etc., then Fat Fish is a fun place to eat. They give you complimentary miso soup and hot tea as well, which makes the bill even cheaper. 3 people and 12 plates later, our bill came out to $26.

Dude, I'm so full. – This place is awesome. You sit down at the bar, which has a conveyor belt system that looks like a scaled-down version of the conveyor belt they have at the LAX baggage claim. But, instead of other people's trashed luggage, there are plates of sushi. I managed to grab four plates within minutes of sitting down, and managed to stuff myself silly within 20. And, they have a long-running lunch special where everything (save a few premium items) are 50% off! I ate $52 worth of sushi and only paid $26! I cannot recommend this place enough, and I'm definitely coming back here when I'm in the area.

Hip fusion restaurant in K-Town – Fat Fish is a great place to get together with friends and family for special occasions, such as birthday parties. The atmosphere is very mod-like and stylish. It reminded me of the Standard Bar and it has a cool neon effect. They can accommodate large parties and reservations are easy to make. The portions are quite small and somewhat pricey compared to other fusion style sushi restaurants, but most of the appetitizers/entrees we ordered were delicious. I went in May this year and they didn't serve alcohol yet, although there was a bar in the corner. They are very friendly and have great customer service. There is also a happy hour sushi bar. If you're looking for a hip restaurant try out, Fat Fish is definitely a choice.

Great place to go with a group! LOVE that it's byob – This place is a favorite for USC students, we frequent it often. Located right now the street from us in Ktown it's very convenient. The special "early bird" prices between 5 and 7pm are phenomenal. You can sit right at the rotating sushi bar and get great deals. Every plate is color coded according to price, most of it is basic rolls and sashimi, but sometimes they throw in mini salads or other dishes. Their specialty rolls are absolutely worth trying. The Fat As* roll (yes, that's what it's actually called) and the Fat Fish roll are delicious! The Fat As* roll is tuna and a little spicy with a crispy outside. It's huge and hard to get your mouth around, but so good! Another great thing about this place is that it's BYOB, which to me was unheard of for a sushi place before I moved out to LA. So cool! It's the perfect place to go with a group. We often go before our sorority/fraternity "invites" or formals. It's fun to sit at the regular tables (not at the bar), the room where you sit is totally mod with unusually shaped plastic, neon-colored furniture. Very Asian trendy. The service is a little slow when you're with a group, but that's to be expected. If you're going to go with a lot of people definitely make a reservation, this place fills up on the weekends!

Coolest Sushi spot! – My girlfriends and I went there Friday night to celebrate our friend's birthday.

The atmosphere was so cool, trendy ,hip and really fun. The service was fantastic, our server was so attentive, cordial and really helpful. The manager was on top of everything, made sure we had everything we needed. The food was terrific, the sushi was very fresh, the oysters were fabulous and the steak dish you must try! They brought out the cake, dimmed the lights and the whole restaurant ended up singing Happy Birthday! It made the night really special. Great place to go with friends!!

Delicious and Interesting – The decor is Kubrick meets Willy Wonka, the menu unique and delicious, the service outstanding. This is a great find in Koreatown. We tried the geoduck appetizer and oysters to start - both dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious. I had an array of sushi whilst Husband tried the beef noodle entree - all was exceptional. The Firecracker roll was the spiciest and most tasty sushi roll I have ever had. Highly recommended.

Upscale K-town sushi spot offers stunning design, a rotating sushi bar, fresh oysters and sumptuous rolls. – In Short
The mod Koreatown branch of the original Weho sushi fave is sexily gorgeous. The main room pops in artsy, post-modern black and white, prominently featuring the rotating sushi bar with a sleek 24-seat counter. The adjacent "glass room" is pure mod style-think Kubrick in Tokyo--with clear red bucket seats, a glowing, underlit white floor and shining walls. A good-looking, youthful crowd stops in for premium fish and Japanese fusion specialties like seven-spiced filet mignon, salt and pepper jumbo prawns, deluxe rolls and oysters.
