Discovery excellent India food in San Diego without breaking the bank!. First off, I want to mention to anyone who's reading this that I love Indian food and for the first year in San Diego had a hard time finding good Indian food at good prices until I came across House of India. The restaurant's location isn't the greatest but that shouldn't stop anyone craving awesome Baingan Barta or Aloo Gobi to seek it out. There's a few things I liked about this place which I'll list... 1) Parking: The restaurant has plenty of parking unlike other Indian restaurants in the Gaslamp. 2) The service: My wife and I have gone numerous times and the service has always been attentive. 3) Food portions are good: I've tried several other more expensive Indian restaurants and had really small portions. This place has good portions for the price. If you enjoy good Indian food at a reasonable price you'll definitley enjoy House of India.
