Had A Great Night – Some friends and I went to a few clubs last weekend and this one was by far the best. First of all the prices were great. For ladies it was $1 rail drinks, I don't know if you can find that anywhere else. The bartender even remembered what I was drinking all night. Thats what I call great service. Entry fee wasn't too bad either. Everyone inside seemed very laid back and fun. Not too many uptight people like at the other clubs. I guess my only complaint was that the dance floor was wet from spilled drinks and a little small. Needless to say, we will definetly be coming back.

Envy Stole My $ – Envy charged my card 50$ when I spent 12$. I still have the receipt and I called today to get it taken care of and still have not heard back.

That was really the topping on the shitty nightclub cake.

The dance floor is tiny and no one dances there. People just stand haughtily and scowl at each other. Bartenders are rude. The door people were nice. It was free to get in and it still wasn't worth it. ( free aside from the 50$ they overcharged me)

A friend of mine got VIP here the other night. I came with 2 other people she'd invited the bouncer wouldn't let us in for free unless we were with the friend who had VIP. So we made her come out of the club, and then he wouldn't let us in b/c she could only have so many people, so they made her server come get us. Bouncer was really unhelpful and crabby about the whole thing, although the server was nice- she also had incentive for a tip. The "VIP" area was a small upper stage level area that was also hosting 2 other VIP parties in the same vicinity. They played decent music, the dance area was not very impressive. I didn't partake in the techno dance room next door which was a little bit smaller but also had it's own bar, there was like 15 ppl in there. Drinks are priced typical for downtown. Bathrooms were nice. All in all I wasn't impressed. Envy seemed like a less classy wannabe Aqua which is right on the same block. Skip it!

HOT place – We friends and I were down there last friday for this Crown Royale event and we got a talbe and whew were the ladies fine. They were dressed in togas serving us food! Now that is what I call a P-A-R-T-Y! The place was pimped out in decorations too(i think for the event). There was lots of alcohol to go around the party! Check it out if you get a chance!

HOT! – Envy Nightclub was explosive on Saturday night! We walked in to a great dance party. The dance floor was hot and so were the drinks! And there is never any line for the bathrooms. We spend the whole night at Envy and we will be back there next week. Thanks Envy!

Nothing to Envy – 4-19-08

The cover was $8, which is to be expected in downtown, minneapolis, plus, the drinks cost too much.

It is way too small to be a nightclub! One dude kept stepping on my toes. Some meat-head and his fat buddies (who were not even dancing) just stood in the middle of the dancefloor talking, and looked upset when folks that were actually dancing bumped into them! I spent part of the night aking myself, who paid off the fire marshall?

Once inside you get this awkward feeling. I guess folks in the Twin Cities are not used to upscale clubs because those lames think that you have to have an attitude, be tough, or create the biggest scene, to feel important or get noticed. Guys: if she ain't feeling you then move on!

The dress code was barely inforced! The music was wack! I was visiting from Atlanta, and just wanted to go out and have a good time, but part of it was me just standing on the dancefloor waiting for a better song. If you walk between the two rooms you can hear a mix of both types playing at the same time, plus they need to check out their speakers, because the music sounded muffled. And man, enough with that raver-music! Don't waste you time! You are better off visiting a cultural site that the twin cities has to offer.

Fun Fun Fun – I'm really glad that i went to Envy the other night. I made some new friends, had some great drinks and danced the night away to really good music. I'm telling all my friends to go here. Theres nothing else in the twin cities that even compares.

Great Dance Music – I went out last weekend to Envy and I definately plan on going back this weekend. The music is H-O-T!!! The club even has go-go dancers that rock out to the music. If you love rock, hip-hop, and dance music this is for sure the place to check out!!!!

Great Birthday Hangout – My friends and I went out for my Birthday and they took me to Envy Nightclub. What a great nightclub! The decor was amazing. It reminded me of a nightclub you would see in Vegas! We didn't have to wait in line and we got VIP service and our server was awesome. She always made sure we were good and it was a great first time experience at Envy. Go check it out if you haven't yet, it's completely worth it!!!
