Avoid this place, bad service.. This was not a good dining experince for me and my 5 other guests. We had to wait 35 min. for our meal to arrive after we ordered. Tea was lukewarm, meat was grissley and not cooked to the bone. Chicken was underdone. Vegetables not cooked thru, rice not hot. When I asked for the manager, it took 10 minutes!!!! before an elderly chinese woman came to our table and could barely understand us, and we could barely understand her. Not good customer service. We paid our over-priced bill and left immediately with out hardly eatting a bite. The worst dining experince I have had in a long time.

Spicy food that makes you want to come back for more. Bamboo Garden is a fairly new restaurant in Bellevue. Ever since I tried it for the first time in January I have been coming back on a regular basis. The very meaty dumplings are a must as a appetizer. Mixed beef in hot sauce is a cold dish that should not be ignored either. My favorite main dishes is chopped pepper with chicken. It is spicy, yet has a very delightful taste. The walnut prawns are juicy and cooked to perfection. This next dish may raise some eyebrows but intestines with pig blut (I have to use the German word for it as the website considers the English version of it as inappropriate) should be tried out at least once. You won't regret it If you get past your imagination. The chunks of blut tastes very fresh, the intestines are tender, the sauce makes your senses tingle. Szechuan style whole fish is another of many dishes that shows off with plenty of chili peppers.

The layout is quite pleasing especially considering that this is a Chinese restaurant. The wait staff is usually friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would rank Bamboo Garden just a notch above the Szechuan Chef.
