Simply over rated – Simply Horrible. Strongly recommend against this place. Bad stuff, rude. Bad food and staff music. What a waste of space. The place is in a great location but funny characters hanging around. Music was not all that either.
I had a great time – I first visited Me'lange Bistro Lounge when I received an email from EntertainCorp about SPICE Fridays....which is a weekly event. Me'lange is one of the better spots located on the East side. Two of the features I enjoyed were the multiple TV screens and the VIP rooms. There is a dance floor and plenty of room the step off to the side to mingle. The service was great, the waitress/waiters are very friendly and the meals and drinks are reasonably priced. I've tried the hot wings and fish, the food is very comparable to other restaurants in the area. My experience at Me'lange was very memorable. Again EntertaniCorp has introduced me to a "cool" location to chill out, party, and have a good time. Me'lange is located at @ Me?Lange 2077 Northlake Parkway Atlanta, GA 30084. Northlake is just off Lavista Rd off I-285 Across from TARGET and LA Fitness.
DeKalb County's Secret Hideout ... not for long – Now I visit some of the HOTTEST spots in Atlanta, Miami, NYC, LA and internationally. I know GREAT will I see it. Me'Lange is certainlly ALL that!
They have made some changes within management, staff, menu, promotions, entertainment and etc. It is wonderful. Growing pains happen. How you get through the pains is ALL that matter. Me'Lange has gotten through it.
I miss the band, but I hear that they are bring the LIVE entertainment back. I can't wait!
I love the drinks, staff, food.
I wish they were open more days a week. They are open Friday, Sat and Sunday currently.
By the way they have a GREAT happy hour ... starting a 4pm!
Not for the classy people. – I heard this place was for the grown and classy. Me and my date were so out of place with the "thugs" and "thugettes" hanging out all over the place smoking marajuana. We were looking for a nice place to have dinner and do some dancing. I was so disappointed in this place. The only thing it has going for itself are the 50 billion TV's and I could have stayed at home to watch television! The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The cover was too high and the staff was horrible. I heard it was owned by a chick named L.A. who obvisously doen't have a clue about running a business. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has one iota of class!
They have potential, but they need to get it together with a dress code – I would have to say for the most part, that the first visit to Seasons (at the time) made me want to come back as the atmosphere was grown and not so thuggish. The 2nd visit showed signs of being taken over by the hoodlum and hoodstress crowd. My 3rd visit was this saturday Nov. 1, 2008 and I tell you the crowd was mixed with grown, simi grown, and hooch phi hooch. You had your strippers in the house, you had your local homie in his white tee and kicks and pants sagging down to the drawers showing. WHERE IS THE DRESS CODE? The cover charge for men was $20.00 and for what. There was no was no entertainment and nothing special going on at the joint. The best thing so far is the music and the DJ. Women were supposed to be free until eleven, but the general manager says we are charging everybody. Things must be getting rough for them financially. YOU CAN'T TELL THE STAFF FROM THE REGULARS BECAUSE THEY DRESS LIKE THEY ARE HANGING OUT TOO. I don't know about the shelf life of this spot.
A Waste of Time and Money – Sorry Seasons, or Melange, whatever you are calling yourself this week, you are NOT what's happening! My party and I stopped by for a drink during the BET awards week end and we left there wishing we'd tried to make it to Studio 72. Uncaring wait staff, people hangin' at the front door, and you say you have a dress code. What night of the week? I don't like bringin my man and my people to a place that has thuggy-looking brothers hangin around the front steps. And I thought with it being a special event week end we might get a chance to meet the owner, NY Nicks basketball player Kelvin Cato, but he was no where to be found. Will we recommend this place to other brothers and sisters? Not a chance!
This Place Needs Help – I recently visited this spot because of the reviews that I had seen and let me tell you I will be more careful about what I choose from now on. The joint was cold and almost no one was there. They had this awful talent show that consisted of nothing but some wanna be rappers and this guy who thought that his singing was something that he was good at ( NOT!!!!!) The whole thing was not entertaining it was actually quite irritating. In fact, the best part was when it was over .
The service was horrible, the food was nothing exciting and was over priced. The drinks were ok, but could have been better. The best thing about this place was there was no cover charge.
Maybe all these people that wrote these good reviews went on a special night and brought there own entertainment. And to the waitress please learn how to be more customer friendly and blond is not for everyone.
Wonderful for any occasion! – I had the pleasure of visiting Season's Bistro Lounge on last Thursday to enjoy a night of Jazz with Antonio Allen and Band. I was not disappointed. The entertainment was exceptional! Our visit was nothing short of "Excellent!" I took my sister for a belated birthday celebration, and she thanked me repeatedly during our stay. We enjoyed the buffalo rolls as an appetizer and our actual entrees were great with jumbo shrimp and onion rings. I didn't think I could finish it all! We were greeted first by the owner which added an immediate plus to our experience. She was very welcoming and introduced us to our waitress who was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I've spent many years in customer service with corporate America and also have worked as a server. I was very pleased to experience what's much needed in most businesses these days. I would recommend anyone to go and enjoy this experience and keep supporting this business run by a young couple who are down to earth and very pleasing to meet. I'll be back!!!
Perfect Date Spot or Just Chilling with the Guys or Ladies spot.... – I visited this spot on last Thursday where it was Free Jazz on Thursdays. The experience and atmosphere was very nice and "mature". It was a cool, relaxing mood and had a great crowd there. The band was absolutely awesome and they even offered other entertainment between their breaks i.e. guest vocalists came up and a violinist came up and did her thing. It was great. The food was pretty good, even though we only ordered an array of appetizers. I will admit that the service could have been faster. The waitress was a sweet girl, but almost clueless as to what she was doing. There were other waitresses there that were on it and handling their section and literally ours as well. Overall, I would definitely visit this spot again. The owner came out closer to the end of the night and asked how everything was. Very cordial and professional person. I wish this place great success. This is a well kept secret for DeKalb, I am surprised there is not more advertising.
Great reggae music I've heard in a while – I got together with some friends on Friday for my birthday and I had a BLAST. The music was great it bought me back to my Brooklyn days. The service was ok nothing to brag about but I will definitely be
going back for some more LALA drinks.
