Mmmmmm! Orgasmically good sushi - best in the valley..
This is simply the best sushi restaurants on the corridor, bar none. I've tried them all, and I keep going back to this place.
Outstanding service... great memory for your personal preferences... extremely fresh fish.
If they have uni listed as a special - try it! It'll be as fresh as if you were on the boat yourself.
I never knew how good white albacore could be until I had it here.
Also, their rolls are outstanding - from the jalapeno bomb through the monster-gone-crazy.
Don't let everyone know, though... I kind of like that there's not a line out the door!
Decent local sushi. I'll admit, I'm pretty picky about sushi which is why only rating 7.5. If you stick with the basics you'll be ok and the sashimi is mostly good but find out before you order it what the daily special is so you'll know what's offered in addition to the tuna and salmon. Its all pretty fresh and the rolls are very unique and showy. The fried tofu appetizer is very good as is the miso soup and green tea. Parking can usually be found on the street and service is consistent. Atmosphere is very casual with single diners and some families/small groups. There's also a big screen TV for sports fans. If you don't need to stay local I'd recommend Sushi Mainstreet in Half Moon Bay or Sushi Koko in Pacifica.
