frustrating due to minimal stock – I have several pieces of Tiffany jewelry along with a pair of Sunglasses. I think the prices are high, but it's a good quality product so it's justified ( at least in my mind) :)

I've never encountered any problems with the sales people. Although I didn't receive serious attention one time when I ran in for a quick gift in jeans and a t-shirt. Be careful, people wearing jeans have money to spend too......

My main frustration with the Domain Tiffany & Co, is the last 4 times I've gone in there for a specific item, they don't have it. The last time was yesterday. ( They blamed the holiday). Really??? Well stock up!

I was also in there in Aug. and they were out of the item I wanted.....no holiday then.......

I wish they would stock the store and have product available.

Amazing Experience Every Time – I'm certainly not a Tiffany expert but I have gone to several different stores in other cities and I always have had a positive experience. Every time I visit this store, I'm amazed at how friendly and helpful all the workers are there. They even offered to bring my girlfriend her bracelet I had engraved to us because I arrived after the store was closed - now that is above and beyond!! I've read a couple of these other reviews and I don't think they seem objective - it's almost like they have something personal against workers there. I hope all the readers take the time to experience this store - I'm sure they wouldn't be disappointed with a greeting at the door and happy workers....

Not the best anymore – I've shopped around the country for years and always enjoy a Tiffany experience, but this store is not up to par. They have very little selection and everyone there seems to be putting on a show. From the loud greeting in my face from the short man at the door, to millions of questions from every single sales person! I felt like saying "Relax- if I need help I'll ask!!" The one sales person followed me around while the other staff stood in their own little groups laughing and talking rather loudly. The store was pretty much empty but I saw a small group of slightly older women in one part of the store not insdie the showcases (I assumed they were managers- two blonds and two brunettes) and I thought they would act slightly more appropriate but as I watched, they were acting just like the rest of the staff- laughing and talking. Is this what they teach in Austin?!

Very lazy service aside from the scripted greeting and questions.

I will not return to this Tiffany store. If I have to I will order online or drive to Dallas or Houston where they know how to treat people!

Outstanding Customer Service – My experience was completely unexpected in the grandest way. As soon as I walked in the store I was greeted with a welcoming committee (so to speak) and when I asked a question the sales associate made me feel very comfortable as she explained what I needed to know in a timely and non threatening way. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is thinking about getting some kind of jewelry for their wife or girlfriend. After all it is TIffany's!

Professional Service / Excellent Quality – I have been an avvd Tiffany's consumer for over 8 years now and can't help but go back. During my first visit to the Austin location I was greeted in a graceful atmosphere by a very professional staff that did not bombard me as soon as I walked through the door (like most of the other stores I have recently visited). Seeking only a pendant necklace, my intentions suddenly changed after once again viewing the extraordinary craftsmanship put into each piece of jewelry. I have not find this quality anywhere else, which is why I continue to return again and again.

Poor Customer Service, Expensive Sterling Silver Pieces, Too Crowded – I've been to Tiffanys a couple of times and have come to several realizations: (1) Tiffany is not the place to go if you want to buy something nice w/o taking out a 2nd mortgage; (2) don't go there on the weekend b/c it's way too crowded; and (3) the staff is unhelpful & poorly trained (rarely having the answer to any questions).

Honestly, there are drawbacks to all of the "big" jewlery stores in Austin. I guess if I had to choose, Bailey Banks & Biddle would be my favorite. There staff is pretty nice and they have a huge selection. I got a really nice Cartier Roadster there and was happy w/ the service and knowledge of the two people that helped me.

Home to the blue boxes that represent classic style and impeccable taste. – In Short
From its legendary blue boxes to its ever-popular six-prong diamond solitaire engagement ring, Tiffany's is a staple in the jewelry industry. Although diamonds, emeralds and sapphires represent 70 percent of total sales, tableware, gifts and accessories are popular items as well. Pleasant and accommodating, the sales staff serves customers with respect, whether they're buying a $40 glass vase or a $40,000 diamond bracelet.
