HORRIBLE SERVICE/ DONT CARE FOR CUSTOMERS!! – Me and my friends had plan to have a dinner for our social club. we booked the banquet room at the resturant in advance and paid our 40 bucks to hold the room. We went out and bought ballons table clothes etc alot of decour. we went back there to make sure we still had the room they said yes.. so the night of the dinner we had bins full of decorations .. we told the lady we were there for the banquet room and gave our name ... they tried to sit us out in the middle of the resturant. the "manager for the night" said the "boss" friends came and he only wanted them in the banquet room... they treated us like they didnt even care that that had happened to us.. it was very embarrssing!! we explained everything to the lady.. it was the same lady we paid the 40 bucks to ... she treated us like we didnt belong there and it was a "o well" situation to her ... she was like either we sit out in the open or we can leave.. she was very mean ... she even told us that everyone that was in the resturant that night paid 40 bucks in adv to sit in the resturant ... WHICH WAS CLEARLY A LIE!!! .... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE ... IF THEY DONT KNOW YOU .. YOU ARE CHOP LIVER!!
Terrible!!!!! – My husband visited the Denim Springs location of this restaruant with friends, waited well over an hour for their food, bad service, when food finally came their food was cold. They sent it back and talked to manager. Manager called the police, my husband and his friends ( a family with 5 small children!!) waited to speak to the police--- I can not stress enough how upsetting this was--they ended up with no food (it was NOT EDIBLE!!!) and still had to pay for it. I have been involved in the food service business in the past--nice, expensive and mid-range priced places. Never have I heard of such poor management, such poor service-- what happened to making the customer happy? Forget that, what happened to good, efficient service and edible food??? My husband has never left a place without a generous tip, and he rarely sends food back-- he considers it ill-mannered. For him to be this upset it must have been a horrible dining experience. To add insult to injury, they were made to pay an 18% gratuity for bad service and no food.
Baton Rouge area's best kept secret – This is a good resturant for an informal dinner. They have wonderful seafoood dishes, but also offer other menu items. I'm sure they cater to formal events as well, but this is my go to place to just sit ,eat and have a good time with my family.
