enjoyable dining experience. We throughly enjoyed our visit at the Epicuriean Hungarian Restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine outstanding and our server Justina provided us extremely friendly welcome, moreover she was very knowledgable and helpful. The live music was a wonderful touch and built an unforgetable atmosphire ( I wish they could play every day not only a weekend). This was my first trip but undoubtedly I will be back!!

The night memories were made. My boyfriend is Hungarian and we were on vacation and I wanted to surprise him by taking him to an authentic Hungarian Restaurant. I looked up Hungarian restaurants on Metromix and off we went on a short road trip. His dad lives in the city and the restaurant was 20 some odd miles away. I was glad it was in the suburbs it took us away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy a nice quiet evening out. We arrived at the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed like a fancy restaurant & I thought it would be really expensive, but it wasn't. He ordered my dinner for me and it was by far the tastiest meal I have ever had (except for those at my grandma's table)! It was such a romantic evening! The great service allowed us to really relax and enjoy the whole experience. They actually had real gypsies playing violins tableside!

This is a gem I hope all come to experience. I guess I did good - he proposed that night! Thank you Epicurean for the best possible setting for the most memorable night of my life!!!! We will be back on every anniversary if I can help it!

Great Hungarian Food. If you're looking for some great Hungarian food, the Epicurean is the place to go. I've tried the lamb shank, goulash, and tripe. All were outstanding. The service is prompt and courteous. Our waitress, Magdalena, on our last visit was very knowledgeable of the different dishes. They have a full bar and plenty of parking. Entertainment on the weekends and a Sunday brunch. Prices are moderate. The tab for an appetizer, soup, entree, dessert, and 3 cocktails was $50.00 excluding tip.
