A very welcoming place! – I worked as a nailtech in the neighborhood for years and Dr. Thomas treated me so well and generously. I always recommend his practice to others because he and Katherine (front desk) seem to genuinely care about helping people.
Dr. Donahue is the best! – I moved to Chicago and few years and I have gone though a dozen or so chiropractors trying to get some pain relief from my T.M.J. Finely, this past summer I heard of Dr. Donahue at Chicago Spine and Sports though a co-worker. Dr. Donahue immediately made me feel at home and was able to relieve my T.M.J. pain. He even gave me exercises to help relieve the pain at home. I go to see him any time I have any bone, muscle or joint pain. I can't recommend him enough. Go see him if you have any aches or pains and I know you won't be sorry.
Does a Tip Top Job – Dr Donahue did a wonderful job getting me better. He listen to all my problems and didn't rush me off to get his other patients. He made me feel at ease and that he really cared about what was going on with me. He gave me positive feedback, enabled me to help myself, and improve my posture. His office is gorgeous which helped when I first entered. The staff is friendly and outgoing.
Very Satisfied – Over the past three years I have seen three different chiropractors in the Chicago area. I was never fully satisfied with my care and results from the other Chicago-area chiropractors I've tried. In my quest to find a better fit, I came upon Dr. Donahue's office (as it is very near to my home) so I decided to try him and see if he could help with my lower back and neck pain. I have been extremely happy with my care so far and look forward to continuing my care with Dr. Donahue. Each visit he is very attentive to my pain and uses various methods to provide immediate relief. Most importantly, he provides the treatment/adjustments I need to ensure future spine/neck health and mobility.
The right guy for the job – I've had low back pain for years and could never shake it off.
I was given Dr Tom's number from a co-worker and man was I glad I made an appointment. The front desk was extremely polite and had my insurance information ready during the first appointment. Dr Tom is warm and inviting. His office was busy but he spent time with my problem and didn't rush like most doctors. He has helped my back it's like night and day!
Better then advertised – I recently moved here from Wisconsin and was putting off trying to find a Chiropractor because of a few bad experiences in the past. The pain drove me to looking. Once I find a good one I am extremely loyal. This guy is good. When initially looking I have a couple pet peeves. 1. The chiropractor isn't trying to sell me on some grand plan me coming in 2 to 3 times a week for months on end. 2. When I go to the first visit and the doctor doesn't demand x-rays when I just need to get cracked. 3. Doctor can align the spine with a gentle but firm pressure. Dr Donahue exceed my criteria 10 fold. Plus, the cute energetic front desk lady doesn't hurt either. I give this guy a 2 thumbs up for sure.
You'll LOVE Dr. Tom! – I've always been a skeptic of Chiropractic services until I was referred to Dr. Tom from a friend of mine when I injured my back a few years ago. Dr. Tom's full service is a LOT more than just adjusting your back; he's got everything from electronic stimulation, massage and acupressure. He's the best I've ever been to.
Amazing Healer! – There is so much debate over whether or not chiropractors are "witch" doctors or amazing healers. I subscribe to the amazing healer category, especially after I went to see Dr. Donahue. I woke up one morning with crippling neck pain, my muscles were so locked up I couldn't even turn my neck. It persisted for weeks on end and no matter how much stretching i was doing, it never helped. I went to see two different massage therapist, I went to my acupuncturist on several occasions, I went to yoga religiously and nothing helped, I was literally in tears over the pain. I decided to find a chiropractor and found Dr Donahue on Citysearch. It was the best thing I have ever done for my health and well being. Within three sessions my neck pain lessened and I was able to turn my head with normal range of motion. After 2 more sessions I was feeling so great that Dr Donahue suggested that I come in every two weeks instead of every week. When you have your health back and you feel like yourself again, the world seems so much more wonderful and inviting. I have Dr Donahue to thank for that. He is patient, caring and knowledgable about his practice. He is someone who really wants to be there to help in your recovery and for that I cannot thank him enough.
Best chiropractor ever – As someone prone to "throwing out their back", I asked a friend if she would refer me to her chiropractor? She said emphatically "YES". So, that is how I started seeing Dr. Tom several years ago. Instead of getting me on a program of regularly coming in for adjustments and a slew of treatments I couldn't afford, he explained WHY I kept throwing my back out, taught me excercises to counteract my problems at the time (weak butt, ha.) and things got better! Flash forward a couple years, two days before my out of town wedding reception I threw my back out jumping off a hydraulic lift at work. Excruciating pain. The sort of pain you call your Mom "Mommy", and ask her to drive you to the doctor. Awful! I called, choked up, he got me right in, worked on my back, helped me figure out how to situate myself in the car for 5 1/2 hours while we drove to Michigan the next day - and I wasn't miserable for my wedding reception. He also kept up with what I did for a living, realized that my needs changed and explained different excercises for me work on now.
This is a good man, and a great doctor with a kind heart.
Good Guy to see – Dr Donahue helped me with my low back pain. I felt so much better after the adjustments. Great service. Great office. Way to go! - Sam
