Horrible dirty place!. Oh my! Please be aware, that the Matteo that owns Dom Di Carlos pizza is not the same Matteo that owns Matteo's Restaurant!! If you have eaten at both you would certainly know the difference! The "man" that owns Dom Di Carlos is no where near the chef! He is a foul man who sweats over and in his cooking! it is horrible to see as you pay your bill after eating! Not to mention the dead flies hanging from the ceiling! YUCK!!!!!! The wait staff is rude, and not very appetizing, the woman waiting on us had stringy hair and was sickly looking! The kid running the register must be a child or family of the owner as there is clearly no way she is being paid for her incompetence! I am amazed this place has survived the economy we are in because the value is not there! Please know if you have a buy one get one free coupon they will do all that they can to make up the discount, skimp on toppings, charge for water, add misc charges with no explanation! This man is desperate!!! And to top it all off, the toilet in the woman's bathroom doesn't even flush!!! I would report them to the board of health if I knew how to do it!
good pizza/questionable service. If there pizza wasnt so good, we wouldnt come back. we called in take out and the woman/girl or whoever she was, should not be dealing w/customers. we had to repeat the order several times. it was 1 pizza with 2 toppings on half of it. we asked the what the largest size was, turns out she didnt know. we go to pick it up, and ask for a takeout menu. She asks the guy cooking, he tells her to to look in back. lazy pretends to look. said they are changing the menu so they wont be any good in a week. Guy cooking said "News to me",plus clearly she acted put out by us asking for a takeout menu
YUCK!. There's nothing good about Dom Dicarlo's. My husband and I had never been there before and we ate there yesterday! What a dump! My husband's meatball sandwich was dry and on some garbagey bread, I had a salad (iceberg lettuce) and it was just nothing and the pizza was (at best) marginal. I'm shocked to learn that Matteo owns this place. Matteo's is a great restaurant and my husband and I love Emily and Matteo. I seriously DOUBT that he (Matteo) knows how this is being managed. The waitress was abrupt, bordering on rude. We will NEVER go back there! It was a waste of time and money... I didn't even want to give this restaurant one star!
Rude Rude Rude!. I absolutely do not recommend Dom Dicarlos. They are rude, have no customer service ethics, and cheat the customer of their money whenever they can. If you do decide to eat there, please make sure you ask for an itemized receipt, showing what you are charged for, because we have been overcharged the past 3 times we have gone there. They have no idea what they are doing, Big Dom treats his workers like dirt, and the atmosphere is not a good one. I will never return. Period.
Horrible service, disappointing food. Dom's used to be a wonderful place to eat, but for some reason the owner, Matteo, has decided that the customer is never right and that they are never wrong. After two mixed up orders, being accused of ordering the incorrect items, being yelled at, and then having to make a return trip in order to get the correct food, I will most likely think twice before revisiting this eating establishement in the future. I guess the owner thinks that rudeness is the way to win customers and lousy food is the way to keep an establishement going in the midst of these economic times. When is an Italian beef sandwich not an Italian beef sandwich? When you order it from Dom diCarlo's.
Good Food does not make up for Rude Service. I used to be a big fan of Dom DiCarlo's. The Chicago style pizza and Italian beef sandwiches were great and hard to find in this area. However, even the food will never get me to step into that place again. Last week, I phoned in a carry out order an hour in advance. Two simple items, a sandwich and a kid's pizza, and plenty of notice. When I arrived, I noticed right away that the pizza was huge and obviously not a childrens size. Rather than work with me on this, I got rudely told that I ORDERED wrong and basically to take it or leave it. Because my child was waiting in the car, I took it and paid extra for a pizza I did not order. When I got home, I was upset to find that my sandwich was wrong too!! When I called back and requested the correct sandwich, I was again told it was my fault because I'd ordered wrong. Seriously?? Matteo got on the phone and was so rude, yelling at me and not letting me get a word in edgewise to the point that I finally got frustrated and gave up. What ever happened to the customer is always right? What happened to customer service? Not only did they NOT offer to make the correct items for me, they made us pay for the wrong food and offered NO apology. I have never experienced such poor customer service not only from the staff, but from the owner as well. What a disappointment! I guess the staff is just following in the leaders poor example, but Dom DiCarlos has lost a customer for life!
Best Pizza in Noblesville!.
I visit Dom DiCarlo's at least once a month. This will be with a delivery, too. Yes, things were a little 'touchy' for awhile. But much improvement is being seen. The pizza, salads, soups, desserts, are and have always been fresh and delicious. Service problems have shown problmes in the past, but this is where improvement is especially being seen.
My visit tonight was like it used to be. Still good pizza, and top notch service. Music beautfiul, atmosphere happy, and sincere.
Dom DiCarlo's is my favorite pizza, still!
Horrible Customer Service. The food is good but absolutely not worth the frustration. We phoned in a take out order and were told the order would be ready in 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the restaurant-30 minutes later- we were told to have a seat the order wasn't ready yet. After 25 minutes we approached the counter to ask why our order still wasn't ready. We were greeted with quite an attitude from the cashier and Matteo. We were not the only people in line this evening not happy about the service, but the staff does not care. Ten minutes later when our pizza was finally ready we were again greeted with an attitude. We decided to let them keep the pizza and proceeded on to another restaurant for our dinner. We have eaten at Dom Di Carlos on many occasions, and this situation has happened once before. We thought that maybe they had a bad night. But after this last experience we will not be returning.
By far the best pizza we have ever had. This is my first time writing a review on a restaurant but I just had to write one on a fabulous restaurant my husband and I tried for the first time last Saturday night. He had read on Thanksgiving Day that Dom DiCarlos in Noblesville was declared the best pizza in Indy. Well, I had passed the restaurant several times when my brother lived in Noblesville but didn't ever stop by to sample their food. Mind you, we love going to Chicago to eat at Gino's East but when I went on Dom DiCarlo's website last week I told my husband that I think Gino's had met its match. Even the pictures and the descriptions of their food made me want to drive there immediately! Well, when we visited we ordered our drinks and then tried their house salad. It was wonderful. In the land of salad mixes (that are nasty with the slivered carrots!) Dom's salad was fresh and wonderfully made with diced tomatoes and great dressings. We ordered the Boss Pizza (meat lovers) Pizza Pie style and added mushrooms to it. My husband took one bite and said it was the best pizza he had ever eaten. We were in heaven. The garlic smells and the shiny crust and thick layer of meat was delicious. The owner (Dom himself) came over to our table and introduced himself and we really enjoyed talking with him. His wife was the one who served us (she was great!) and we had a good time. He even had one of his people bring out a bowl of his "red sauce" so we could dip our pizza in it. It was fabulous. Please visit this restaurant . . . you will NOT be disappointed. We plan on going back soon to try the calzones, lasagna and spaghetti as well. Come to Dom's and eat a slice or two or three (!!!) of heaven!!!
Authentic Italian food!.
Fresh, high quality ingredients.
The chef sat and talked with us like he was an old friend.
The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing.
