Where's Gordon Ramsay When You Need Him? – From the moment we arrived, it was like we were bothering the staff. We were one of only 3-4 tables in the restaurant, and the service was still unbelievably slow. The waiter ignored us most of the time and bordered on rude when he did acknowledge our presence. We waited an extremely long time for our food, refills on water, the check, a to-go box, and the food was not nearly good enough to make up for it. This was THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD---ANYWHERE. To top it off, the waiter counted my baby as a sixth person so that he could add on an 18% tip---which is about 17% more than he would have gotten otherwise!
Best hidden gem – My boyfriend and I recently visited Primo after hearing about its James Beard award-winning chef. Primo uses alot of local and organic items in its dishes such as Agua Linda Farms and Double Check beef. The grilled duck breast with farotto and blueberry gastrique was amazing. The desserts were right up there too. The cannoli were the best I've had yet. Service was friendly and on point while not pretentious. After dinner we enjoyed cocktails on their cozy patio with a view of the city lights. I highly recommend Primo to anyone and can't wait to visit again.
