Hands down the BEST gym in Brooklyn... THE BEST! – If you told me a year ago that I would like working out I would laugh hysterically to the point of tears. I knew I needed to get in shape, but gyms have always scared me. I have tried every gym in the area... NYSC, the Y, Crunch, Body Elite, random pilates and yoga studios, kickboxing. You name it, I have tried it. And when I say "tried" I mean I have given them a significant amount of money only to find that I hated going after 2 visits. Two. Some may say I never gave them a chance. No, after 2 visits I know. Crowded, dirty, feels more like a social scene, packed classes where people are way too close for comfort...no thanks. And then I stumbled upon Fitness Collective. Since I still didn't know what exercises I should be doing or how to use the machines, I signed up for 3 personal training sessions. And after 2 sessions I was seeing rainbows and harp-playing angels; after 3 sessions I knew I found a "home", thus I signed on for more. I'm comfortable, get an amazing wok-out, and most importantly am happy and look forward to my next gym session...something I thought would never happen. Oh, and did I mention that the staff is FABULOUS and the trainers get you into serious shape? I'm already back in my skinny jeans... and look out bikini season 2011! I am one happy client!
Most awesome! – I went to work out here by myself, and pretty soon I was surrounded with friends. Clavel is the best trainer, patient and understanding but tough. Dwayne and Nick are awesome and Marilyn was tough! Point is, these guys must be the best trainers in NY, I would not go anywhere else.
Don;t go anywhere else if you are serious about getting into shape.
amazing training – Amazing personal training.. Ive been with the Cobble Hill Fitness Collective crew for about a year now. Its a great place to work out. THe workouts are not easy but THEY WORK. They have me Mooving around, lifting weights, running, jumping, kicking, Some times im working with a boxer, sometimes im working with a yoga instructor, there are all kinds of trainers that i train with..also classes, and seminar workshops that are included in my personal training. Its just great...
Best training in the world! – Best training in the world. THey do nutrition, strenght, cardio and flexibilty training with a caring and knowlegable staff. Truly worth every dime!
The best Brooklyn personal trainers! – I started going to the Fitness Collective about six months ago and have had an amazing experience. While all the trainers I have worked with have been very good, I have settled in with a couple that I schedule sessions with time and again. There are different levels of personal training packages available, depending on your needs and they have additional programs that run for six to eight weeks, which add a nice variety to the regular class selection. Currently, I am participating in an eight week "Fitness Challenge" that includes all scheduled classes, help with nutrition and email support from the trainers and others involved in the challenge. The community spirit that is found at the Fitness Collective has helped me stay motivated to keep on track for reaching my goals. For the first time in years I am finally enjoying working out!
