YUMMMM!!!!! – This restaurant is awesome! Comparable to Mortons or Ruths Chris. I have been there twice and been so impressed both times. Also, both times it was empty!! It's unfortunate that it doesn't stand out as it should. It's dark on the outside and like the previous poster stated, on the bottom floor of an office building on Olive Ave. I never would have known it was there unless my boyfriend took me there. One great perk of the emptiness is quick service! We've ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer- they are wonderful and they seem to put sausage on it. YUM! Then I've had the petite Tenderloin which melted in my mouth, and on the next visit I had the ribeye. So flavorful! We ordered the smoked cheddar gratin as a side as well as the sauteed mushrooms. On my first visit, I ordered bearnaise sauce on my steak. That's the only thing I wouldn't reccommend. It was very vinegary.
A+ Food, A+ Service!!! Give Lashers a try!! – Our first visit to Lashers was very, very satisfying. It was my husband's bday. I made the reservation on opentable, the reservation website, specifying the bday and they brought dessert with a candle! I also requested a private, romantic table and although the place was fairly empty, they escorted us to a great table. I hope the buzz begins for Lashers as the food was excellent (even for me as a vegetarian), service was A+ and atmosphere was A+. I ordered (from memory. bday was a few months ago) the soup of the day, a roasted vegetable bisque. Husband ordered an aged rib eye I believe. He raved about it. Husband is a former professional butcher and is very particular and discriminating when it comes to steak. A++++ please visit Lashers and keep them in Burbank. I think the location may not be the best. It's located on the ground floor of an office building and doesn't immediately jump at you as a beautiful, elegant steakhouse. I only noticed because I frequent the fedex and wellsfargo next door. Once you enter, it's truly beautiful. Prices are as expected from a fine dining steakhouse. We spent $100 without alcohol for dinner and dessert. Take into consideration I'm a vegetarian so we only ordered one steak. The key lime pie was also A+!!! I didn't give them 5 stars because nothing and no one is perfect. :)
Steakhouse courts the Burbank business crowd with Midwest hospitality and traditional elegance. – On the patio, cozy booths and plenty of heat lamps encourage lingering; inside, a grand piano near the bar lends the comfort of a friend's living room. The formal dining room is set to orange sconce lighting and furnished with sunken booths offset by brown leather cushions. The lunch menu offers a hearty selection of entrée salads and sandwiches as well as the prime steaks that lure dinner crowds. Meaty fare includes bone-in ribeye steak, double-cut Niman Ranch pork chop and New Zealand rack of lamb.
