Not Worth the Price – I was really excited when I heard there was a salad place with unlimited toppings. However, it turns on the unlimited toppings are a half a teaspoonful. And their toppings are just ordinary, cheap veggies - carrots, celery, etc. The chicken is $2.00 and you hardly get any. I won't be back.
Great Salad – I use Salata's salad almost everyday and very pleased. I would like to see another location to be open at Sugar Land.
BEST FOOD IN PRESTON CENTER FOR LUNCH OR DINNER! – SALATA is now in DALLAS!! Since there is not a listing on the Dallas City Search yet for Salata (which just opened in September) I wanted to let everyone know that comes to Dallas to be sure and visit Salata in Preston Center which is at the corner of NW Hwy and Preston Road in North Dallas-it's about a mile from Northpark Mall.
SALATA is absolutely the best restaurant to come to this area. I eat there on average of 4-5 times per week and everytime it is delicious and most importantly he healthiest place to eat in the area. The food is fresh, the chicken and seafood are full of flavor, the tomato basil and tortilla soups are fantastic and best of all the price is perfect! So don't miss Salata the next time you are in Dallas!! Michael and all of the employees will greet you with a smile and make sure your meal is done to perfection.
Over Priced Salads!!!!! – Very disappointed with this establishment, they have raised their prices, it now costs $2 for you to add chicken to your salad, and you are lucky if you get a spoon full I asked for more chicken as I didn't feel it was hardly any and they said I would have to pay more..are you kidding me!!! They also skimp on the vegetables when adding them ...the lettuce is always fresh..but come on $9 for a salad..be real!!! I will not be going here anymore...and neither are alot of my co-workers..they have the same complaints!
Best Salads Ever!!!! – Best salads ever, I am not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about. I visit this place Salata almost everyday for lunch for the past year and haven?t noticed anything like
that. They are consistently fresh and tasty. The selection and portions are great and the price is fair. I wish there was one around where I live, so I could visit for dinner also.
The restaurant is always clean looking and the service is fast and courteous. I enjoy Salata very much and I am glad to be a loyal customer.
Annoying place to get a decent Salad. Pay a price, expect $#$@^! service.. – Wow, I go to get a halfway decent salad, the person making the salad, makes disgusted faces when adding ingredients she doesnt like..nice. I have gone to several, giving the place a good chance but having to point repeatedly point until the person selects the correct ingredient is just silly...They fill the Soup cups to a little more than halfway and call it "full" and HEAVEN FORBID you want an extra napkin to wipe the outside off...
Go if you MUST have salad, it's better than most but be prepared to mime and do a little interpretive dance for your order..If you want more than a Tablespoon of chicken on your salad to make it worth the $4 bucks, then make sure you stay on the person making the salad. They SKIMP to the point that you wonder if they get a bonus on how much chicken they still have at the end of the day..
in a nutshell, Decent salad if you pay attention, Annoying experience... be prepared to spend $10 minimum.
BTW, the shrimp is decent but will make your luncheon salad a dinner priced meal...
