Do not go by the web page they have because its all false info! Drove hour n half to get to store in Baton Rouge on Saturday am to find the doors locked n no one around, in which the web says open from 8-2.
Then on Monday was sitting at the Hammond store at 8:30 to find umm yea it's closed and out of business for two months now!
So with that being said if you can't believe what u see on web page how can you go there and believe. I also called the BR store sitting in parking lot of the Hammond store and asked about the store being closed to be laughed at on the phone! I had two trucks to get fixed up, but I promise it won't be done there!
don't even think of having these guys install a suspension lift. i will never go back to kirk's again!!! – i went in to purchase a rancho kit, rims, and tires, but the staff told me they would have to cut my frame to install and recommended a superlift. i followed the "professional's" advice. what a mistake. i had to pay for evertything up-front. that should have been a red flag, but i am a trusting person and paid over $5 grand before anything was ever started. sales guy said he wanted my truck there at 7am so they could have it out the same day which was agreeeable. when i delivered my truck and told them i would wait in b.r. for them to finish, they laughed in my face. said it would be 3 day minimum. the next day, i called to check the progress and was told the mechanic is busy doing nerf bar installations. couldn't believe that they are pulling their one mechanic off of the $5000 job to install cheap accesories. well after four more days, my truck was ready and i picked it up at 9 pm because of the massive delay by kirk's. it looked fine and drove well until i got back to new orleans and then it sounded like the whole front end was about to come off. all four of the bolts which tie the front end work into the frame were all the way loose, about to fall off. when i called the sales guy, he was like "well be careful and get it back however you can." i crawled up under my ride and tightened all these critcal bolts in the dark . my wheels were rubbing on the fender wells and my track width was 4" wider in the front than the back and looks terrible. then for my 500 mile check up, the nice valve stem caps which came with my new wheels were stolen by someone in the shop and replaced with cheap black plastic ones... like i wouldn't notice. they also said there is nothing they can do about the difference in the trackwidth between the front and back. should have gone to the mud hole. maybe cost a bit more, but i'll bet they would have done the job correctly and i wouldn't be stuck with a crappy $3 grand lift kit. i will never go back. terribly disappointed.
