I have been using Absolutely Spotless for housekeeping service for almost 2 years now. I have never had a bad experience with my bi-monthly cleaning services. The maids do an excellent job and are very respectful and hard working. The prices are very reasonable.
I am actually writing to complain. This company is charging my credit card for $110 for a supposed missed appointment (I claim my appointment was 8/3 and they claim it was for today 8/2). When I call customer service the rep states that I had to give a 48 hour notice. When I stated that I signed no agreement as to a 48-hour notice, she answered, "It's on our invoices". Invoices are provided after services are rendered not before so how would I have been aware of this requirement since I had never received an invoice since services had not yet been provided? I tried to have a rational conversation as to this point to which she droned a "48-hour notice on all our invoices" mantra. Please help me understand the purpose of a 48 hour notice warning on an invoice. These people are crooks.
