Great Service – I didn't have to look long for THE dress. La Belle Reve Bridal was the second boutique I visited and I had the most pleasant experience from minute 1. The staff was absolutely the best. I made an appointment and tried on about half a dozen dresses. The girl who was helping me knew that the dress for me was in her store. There was absolutely no pressure and I went home and slept on it as she advised. One week later I made the decision and bought the dress last weekend. It was a great experience and I would HIGHLY recommend La Belle Reve Bridal! :)
Made Dress Shopping fun again. – I visited La Belle Reve in search of the perfect dress. I had been to two other shops and left the last in tears. I was worried that the rest of the search would be the same way. Olga made me feel like a real bride. She took the time to listen to me and what I was looking for in my dress. She pulled dresses for my body type and my needs without pushing her own thoughts onto me. She was very sweet and helpful. While I didn't end up getting my dress from La Belle Reve, I would refer anyone there in hopes they might find their dress. Olga is great and the store is beautiful. She turned around my horrible dress shopping experience and made it fun again. Thanks for everything Olga!!!!
Classy boutique, great experience! – I made a last minute appointment recently to try on dresses at La Belle Reve, and was pleasantly surprised when SIX of the nine dresses I tried on made it on my short.....errr, long list of favorites!
Olga helped me and was fabulous - she was down-to-earth, not overly pushy or salesy. That is a huge turn-off for me. In fact, I will not go back or recommend a particular dress store in Seattle because there was not a single ounce of sincerity in any one of the sales staff. Sad:-(
Olga, on the otherhand, used her fashion design training to give me honest, sincere advice on advantages/disadvantages to each of my "favorite" dresses. As one of the former reviewers mentioned, Olga did offer discounts on sample dresses, as well, they did have a whole sale section of gowns. A nice perk when trying to be conscious of costs during the wedding planning process.
I also like the fact that LBR does in-house alterations. No sending my dress to some random person who doesn't really know what I want.
I have not purchased my dress yet, but I am looking fwd to my next appoint w/LBR. I feel like it will be another great experience that will exceed my expectations! I'll follow-up later to report back on appointment #2!
Insensitive, inattentive and disappointing. – I went to La Belle Reve twice. The first time, I enjoyed the experience and found their staff insightful and very good and I thought I found the perfect dress. The second time I went back with the intention to purchase. I hadnt been to any other bridal shops, nor did I want to go anywhere else. When I arrived, I explained what I wanted and the attendant I worked with was less engaged and less attentive than the previous associate I had worked with. After finding 3 dresses that I liked, in addition to the dress I saw the last time I visited, I was told that because my wedding is in May, I would need to rush order my dress... OK, thats understandable, I would be more comfortable having my dress sooner rather than later. Then the attendant told me that I would need to pay an extra 10% because I was "probably a size 20, at least." Ouch, that was insensitive, especially since I hadnt even been measured. I understand wedding dresses run small, but size 20 is 8 sizes larger than the clothes I wear. I have worked hard to lose weight and I am still trying. I thought bridal stores were in business to make women feel beautiful and helping them get ready for their big day. I was really disappointed that La Belle Reve seemed to miss the point of buying a bridal gown was to feel gorgeous. The attendant then announced that her next appointment had arrived and she'd email me to let me know what the cost of the three gowns I chose as well as the delivery time. The email never came and they did have my phone number, so I guess my business didnt matter. This week, I purchased the dress I liked the first time I was at La Belle Reve from I Do Bridal, in a size 16, not a 20. I wouldnt suggest La Belle Reve to my worst enemy because no one deserves to feel like a fat, hopeless bride who wont find a wedding dress in time for their big day. They have no clue how to deliver unpleasant information and they should really learn some tact when selling to less than perfectly built brides.
Great at first.. – When I first went in customer service was awesome. After i found and ordered my dress it was still great and they were very helpful. When my dress came in however, the people who had helped me before no longer worked there and the customer service went down from there. I had wanted to alter the dress and had discussed it with the former employees that said it would be no problem, but these new employees did not understand what I wanted. The owner was there a few times and very helpful, but each time I would go in there would be a new girl who had no idea what I was talking about. Eventually it worked out and my dress was beautiful, (the seamstress is very talented) but there was a lot of stress. Hopefully the customer service goes back to the way it was last year, because they have great dresses.
We appreciate feedback and when a customer has a less than perfect experience, we will do our best to remedy the problems. We apologize that the original bridal consultant was no longer available when the dress arrived, as she was on maternity leave. It was unfortunate that on your other visits there always seemed to be a different consultant on duty. We believe continuity is important, and will always try to suggest making an appointment to ensure the same consultant is there for you. We agree that employees should refrain from talking in another language in the presence of a client, and have reinforced our policy that this not be done without the permission of the client and only then when necessary. Thank you for your compliments to our seamstress, and we agree with you. We are pleased that even though there was some stress, your dress was everything you had wished for. the best wedding gown ever! – I have always dreamed of having the perfect wedding. I became engaged this past Christmas. My boyfriend proposed to me on the day after Valentine?s Day. Boy was I surprised! He put the ring in a box of chocolates! Before I did anything? Before I found a reception hall?Before I made a guest list?The very first I had to find was the right dress. I went to three bridal stores in Seattle and I was so disappointed. I had heard of La Belle Reve through a friend of my Mom?s. The store was so beautiful and I liked the sales girl a lot. I found my favorite gown of all in my first visit. I picked a gown by Madina Vadache. It is Silk Stretch Charmeuse Halter dress, very slender and close fiting with Chantilly Lace and silk ribbon trim. To me, fashion is everything. I just love this dress!!! This is the most important day of my life! I will love the photos of me wearing this dress forever.
Genuine care and great customer service – I was only in Seattle for a few days. My fiance Brian lives in Kirkland. We met in Costa Rica during a scientific symposium. We plan to get married in Seattle in a small wedding on September 6th.
I didn?t plan to look for a gown in Seattle. I live in Boston and there are plenty of places to shop for a wedding gown. I was in the car with my future mother-in-law Marge. She suggested that we visit La Belle Reve. I didn?t really want to look for a wedding gown on this trip. My time is pretty limited but I told Marge yes. I was just being polite. I?m a research scientist and I don?t like to spend a lot of time shopping in stores. I thought La Belle Reve was very beautiful, quiet, and charming in an understated way. I felt relaxed and didn?t feel pressure to buy anything. There were about four full racks of gowns. I didn?t feel overwhelmed by the selection. I felt like every gown was handpicked for its quality. I didn?t see any big puffy white dresses, which I think look just ridiculous. Marge encouraged me to try a few on. I never made it past number two. My favorite--An off the shoulder champagne colored satin sheath. It was truly elegant and stunning. The sales girls were so helpful. Even though I was sure this was the right gown, the sales girls seemed concerned for me. They wanted me to be sure. I know what I like. I make my decisions fast. I knew this was the gown for me. Six weeks later, when I returned to Seattle, the sales girls remembered my name, the name of my fiance and they even remembered Marge. Overall, La Belle Reve was a very positive experience for me.
Wonderful Experience – I had the best experience at La Belle Reve. The women were so kind and everyone made me feel very comfortable. No one was pushy or snooty, just very helpful and knowledgeable. The dresses were beautiful. As soon as I walked in I knew I would find my dress. I also enjoyed that they had different jewelry and shoes for you to try out with each dress, it helped complete the picture. The prices were much more reasonable especially for the high quality of the dresses. My dress was the second one I tried on, but they made sure I tried on everything I had picked out just to be sure. Now I have no question that I picked my perfect dress. It was such a wonderful experience that I can't wait to go back for my first fitting.
BEST customer service and bridal gowns selection – A month away from my wedding day, I still hadn't found that perfect
gown. To my surprise, there was a new bridal gown place right at the
corner of 10th and 108th in downtown Bellevue. I stopped by to check
it out hoping to find a gown. I found not only a PERFECTLY simple,
beautiful and elegant gown, but also received an excellent customer
service from Anna. She was absolutely wonderful and patient with
helping me pick out a gown that would complement my body type and
style. She made the whole experience feel so easy like a breeze. Not
hussel and pretentious like another popular bridal gowns shop that I
went to (I won't name that shop, but almost all brides know what that
shop is). I was IN and OUT within an hour. I got the gown 10 days
before my wedding. I am thankful that I found La Belle Reve. They are
on the top of my list for BEST customer service and bridal gowns
selection. Keep up the GREAT work, La Belle Reve. I want everybody
knows about your great service. A lot of brides need your help.
