Family Business with Customer Loyalty and Professionalism. My husband and I grew up in the Chisago Lakes/Forest Lake Area and we now reside in St. Paul. We are pleasantly surprised that this small-town company has been so great. We originally had a large Twin Cities company doing our garbage and they took our can when we were late on a payment. And then they wouldn't give it back even after we paid our bill! They said we were on a bad list and they wouldn't do business with us anymore. One slight misstep and we were 'out'. Now I'm glad, because I'd much rather give my money to Pete's than some nameless company that is inflexible and rude. We will keep doing business with Pete's Rubbish as long as we can!
Nice family run business with good prices.
Pete's is reasonably priced, and handles waste according to county environmental rules (some local haulers don't).
They've always been very nice on the phone, and flexible and responsive with special requests. The owner is a very nice guy.
Other haulers may offer a short-term discount that looks good on the surface, but read the fine print--Nobody has ever offered a long-term price lower that Pete's for us.
