Not impressed – My Mom, grandmother and I recently visited Cali and Mo, as we had heard really good things about the shop in general. We were sorely disappointed. The vintage items were scarce and overpriced, and the newer items were quite matronly; even my fifty five year old mom and seventy two year old grandmother were turned off by the styles that were offered. We also did not take kindly to the employee on duty that sat on her tuft and surfed the internet, while munching on potato chips. When we managed to pull her away from the internet and her cell phone calls, she was quite short with us and behaved as if we were an interruption of her outside social activities rather than the purpose for her employment. We won't return.
Romantic clothing, Parisian decor, and fabulous vintage finds – Well, what do you know? A store in the Denver Pavilions that's not a chain! It's a miracle! I stepped into this store and instantly fell in love. The clothing is beautiful. I feel as if I'm in 1920s Paris (in a modern way).
There are so many cute home decor items, many of them French themed. I wanted to buy so much, but my tiny bank account wouldn't allow me. This store is a definite hidden gem inside the chain stores of 16th Street. Although the store is small, I could easily spend a lot of time here.
The vintage decor is reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Cali and Mo is highly reccommended.
