I will have to agree with all the bad reviews. This has to be the worst experience ever! How are these people still in business? They are not the only place in town. I never write reviews, but after such a horrible experience I felt like it was my responsibility to warn others. I wanted to take my two year old and a few of his friends to bounce for his birthday. I only had 4-5 total kids so I decided that instead of paying to book a party with all the hoopla which my two-year old would not appreciate anyway that I would just pay for open play for everyone and get pizzas and drinks when we got there for everyone. We read on the website that they did not provide dessert so you could bring your own cake or cupcakes so we brought cupcakes as indicated by the website. So, we show up and sit in the lobby to wait on the other children. When everyone got there, I went to the counter where a man was waiting at the cash register. I told him that I wanted to pay for open play for the five guests that had come. He immediately looks over at my husband and mother who were sitting over to the side and said, "You can't have outside food." I responded that the website stated that you could bring cake or cupcakes. He said, only if you booked a party. So I said okay, well we will just hand them out as they leave. I then said that I wanted to order some pizzas. I saw where they had advertised one pizza for $14 or three for $37 so I was just going to get the three. He then told me that that deal was only for parties too. They then said that we could pay for a party and have the cupcakes and pizza deal because if we didn't we wouldn't have anywhere to sit anyway. So we were essentially forced into paying for the 6 kid party for $95. But we just wanted everything to go smoothly and after all, everyone was already there and ready to go. So we paid the $95 for the party. So out of the $95 party fee, $36 of that was admittance to the bounce room. The other $59 dollars went to: a plastic tablecloth that had obviously been reused, utensils that we did not use because we had pizza and cupcakes, "napkins" that were just a role of paper towels, plates, which were the cheapest thinnest paper plates you can buy almost not worth having paper plates at all may as well eat of the paper towels, and balloons at the table. I assumed since the balloons were included in the description of what was provided with the party that they were ours to take so I had planned to pass them out to the children as they were leaving. One boy left early and I handed him a balloon. A minute later the same rude man you greeted us came over to our table with the balloon that I had given the boy and said that the balloons were for the centerpiece decoration and we could not have them. Are you serious?! You took a balloon out of a two-year old's hands?! I could not have been more shocked and embarrassed. I mean how much could that balloon have cost? And why did the $60 I paid not cover it? What did the $60 cover exactly? It was obvious to me that these were not good people. I will never go there again and it's a shame because my two-year old is only beginning to have birthdays and events that will not be held at Bounce USA. Big mistake Bounce USA, this will eventually kill your business. Of course, maybe if you treated people better than you wouldn't have to charge elevated prices for crappy accommodations. Later, the awful man told my mother that he was a bouncer for his other job. That was the only thing that made sense all day. Don't quit your night job because interacting with kids and parents if certainly not for you.
Worst party ever.....I feel like I was ripped another a**hole. First of all the party was for my two year old son. It started off ok but a hour into the party,we were pushed off into their so called party room and asked if I wanted my guest to start putting their shoes on (now the party host is asking this while serving us pizza and cake all at the same time). After I looked confused, she explained to me that there was a private party starting and we weren't allowed to be in the jump area. Before my guest could eat, decorations were being brought in for this "PRIVATE PARTY" they were hosting. Apparently we took too long leaving because the server stood in the doorway with her arms folded like we needed to get a move on things and stop playing around. To put icing on the cake....I was given a bill for $358.00. They have the worst customer service and parties all for an expensive price.....# NEVERAGAIN!!!!!!
Thanks to Bounce USA ! A big thumbs up for your place. My kids just loved it. Best birthday we have ever had thanks to the customer service and the facility. Clean, safe and fun. Couldn't be more pleased with the place
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!MONEY is all they want. – I am the customer WatchfulEye saw the manager arguing with. Before I reserved the party I looked online at party prices and their was a party for 6 kids for $95 and one for UP TO 10 kids. I looked all over the site and no where did it say that if you reserve the party for UP TO 10 kids you have to pay for 10 kids if you only have 6 kids show up. Just to be safe I told my husband to reserve for UP to 10 kids 2 weeks ago. The woman that he talked to never told him either that if you reserve the party for the 10 kids and only had 6 you couldn't pay for the 6 kid party. I was also supposed to get a phone call a couple days before Saturday confirming our party and the amount of people ,but NO ONE called me!
They showed us the area that they had reserved for us which was 2 picnic tables with CHEAP PLASTIC tablecloths and some balloons. I orderd a pizza that I had a coupon for to get it for free(which she wouldn't take) and the pizza showed up way early and was cold and greasy. A RIP OFF for $14!It says on their website that they have 10 inflatables set up in the arena. Well they only had 9 set up ;three of which were games that the kids couldn't play on. Three of the others were age restricted . So there were only 3 inflatables that everyone could play on and they were crowded. One was a huge slide which everyone was on and there was not an attendant limiting the number of people climbing up the slide. At one time I thought that the slide inflatable was going to tip or collapse over because there were so many kids and adults on it. Where were the attendants that were supposed to watching the inflatables? They were doing nothing! They should have been limting the number of people in the bouncers. The place was too crowded because they let too many people in for the space and amount of inflatables they had; all they see is $$$. This place is an accident waiting to happen. And who puts picnic tables in the middle of the play area where kids are running? Apparently Bounce USA thinks it was a good idea.
I asked where the spoons were for icecream cups because they were supposed to provide plasticwear and all they had were forks at the table. One of the hostesses looked at me and said "You didn't bring spoons?" Of course I didn't because Bounce USA stated in their party description they provided plasticwear and plates. I didn't know I had to bring spoons because they only provide forks and not spoons too.
When I was ready to pay I told the woman who I believe to be the owner /manager that I only had 6 kids so I needed the $95 to pay plus the pizza. She told me it didn't matter I had to pay for 10 kids no matter what. I explained that she never told me this and never was that on the website ;she said I had to pay for 10 because she reserved me a place for 10. She would have reserved me 2 tables even if I reserved for only 6 kids because I had adults too. It didn't cost her anything else because I provided everything else. The balloons and plasticewear and plates were the same with the party for 6 kids. The woman also told me that if she didn't charge for me for 10 kids that she would go out of business. Well treating customers badly and not accommoodating them AT ALL makes a business go out. After I told the woman that this was my first time at Bounce USA and that I wouldn't be coming back and I would let others know about how I was treated she told me, " Good, I hope you don't. She said, I am not going to argue with you, your bill is $$$, now give me your card!.. She also made the comment to one of her employees while I was standing there ,"Man, they are really coming out of the woodwork, tonight." All they want is your money . I don't want anyone to have to experience what I went through. Look for a more CUSTOMER friendly business that actually cares about the CUSTOMER . If you don't you could find your self being SLANDERED in front of other people like me.
No Customer Service Skills - Nickle & Dime you – I do not recommend this place for birthday parties, at all.
I was there to attend a party for a young family member. There were very few attendants on the inflatables. No one watching to make sure that older kids were not on the areas for 2 and under. I took my 3 yearold grandchild to the restroom. I had to take my shoes off because the bathroom is located off the carpeted area. I had on thin trouser socks, and the bathroom floors were nasty! Kids had peed all over them. And there I was walking in it !!!! The pizza was disgusting! Cold and greasy! The kids took one bite, and left the rest. The "hostesses" were nothing to brag about. IT was super over-crowded due to several parties, plus the open play. Seems they would limit the number of parties to avoid that. And they did not have the staff to control the number of kids. They charge for every little thing. When we were leaving, I overheard the manager and the staff talking to a customer in the rudest way... saying : I hope you never come back... All I want is for you to pay your bill!" Apparently there was an issue with an overcharge. After the customer left, the staff was still talking badly about her, and really belittleing her. I hope the young lady spreads the word. I was totally disappointed in our experience, and I wonder how many more customers they manage to offend. I WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK THERE. There are too many other, less expensive options out there for b-day parties.
Best Fun Center Ever! – Wow! We had our granddaughter's 8th Birthday Party there, with lots of family members and children of all ages. That worked out great, because there's so much to do for all ages. The Toddler area is so clean and safe with no older children allowed. From the moment we walked in, the children had a blast. The staff is excellent, and the facility is the cleanest I've ever seen. We had been there for Open Play several times, and since we were having small children, we opted for a private party. I could not have been more pleased and it was hassle-free for me! They took care of everything. There is just no comparison to other options for a safe and fun experience. We will definitely visit Bounce USA again soon!
UNSAFE! BEWARE! DON'T GO HERE! – Unfortunately I had to put one star on my review but they really don't deserve even one star! Had my son's birthday party there and it was an expensive nightmare!!Don't waste your money even doing open play here . . . and yes I have the correct place . . I am certain the other reviewer had the correct place to but the owner tried to say they were reviewing a different place since she had no defense of the actual review! The place was so crowded that you could barely walk between the bounce things, there were even groups of teenagers sitting all in front of the exit to the obstacle course! There were way to many kids on each bounce thing. There was adults jumping down the very tall slide and landing on small children who were getting off at the bottom. There were kids linking arms and going down 5 at a time. There were kids going down head first. At a safe bounce place, there would be attendents walking around making sure the equipment is used correctly. I watch my own child but I can't police other children who are not following the rules. Alll the other places in town make sure the kids are safe!!
They advertise they have a under 2 area . . . well they don't care who goes in there . . . they have a little sign?? there were boys at least 10 in there running around throwing balls and knocked a small child with us down! I could go on and on about how awful this place is! One of the jumpy houses had holes where the wall met the inflatable part . . . that is a broke leg or worse waiting to happen!! The equipment looked old and in bad shape! I contacted the owner about the safety problems and all she said was that she was 2 people short but had all the employees the law required and that she didn't let more then her capacity in?? well, there were 3 employees there . . . one was collecting money at the front and never left the front . . . another employee was catering to a private party and only did that . . . and the owner was "running" the parties in the public area, she wasn't very friendly and wasn't very helpful but I could forgive that if the place was safe for the kids . . . I even told the man up front (since I didn't know our rude waitress was the owner at the time) about how unsafe things were and he said he would do something about it but never moved!!
We paid $143 for some cheap paper plates, a table cloth, ballons, cheap cups, so so pizza delivered half hour before had to leave (not enough time to eat), warm 2 liter drinks, ice in a nasty looking cooler, and cheap balloons!! Wow!! They nickeled and dimed you to death and it was not worth it at all!!The other reviewer mentioned the bathrooms! Yes, you have to go in there without shoes with your socks on and the place is gross. There was pee all over the floor, toilet paper in one stall, and no paper towels to dry hands!! So the kids go in there and pee and then track pee all over the carpet and the bounce equipment!! Don't go there! We had 7 kids and 3 of them got hurt and that is not counting the kids that may come down with something from the dirty condition of the place!! I told the owner about the injuries and she said that no told her and normally they are the first to know . . . we didn't say anything because fortunately they were not serious injuries plus we were forced to sign a waiver to get in so what would the owner care about injuries?? In fact, the owner just gave me the names and addresses of other bounce houses that we should go to if we are looking for place that is safe and not so crowded!! She said she is always over crowded when there is bad weather . . . it was nice out except for a brief drizzle early in the day . . normallly people do go to a indoor place during bad weather or winter but you don't expect it to be packed out the door and you don't expect your children to be unsafe THEY HAVE YOU SIGN A WAIVER IN CASE YOU GET HURT FOR A REASON . . . THINK ABOUT IT!!
Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!!!!!!! – Very bad Experience! Was lied to Beware! If you are asked to pay cash to save $5 you can bet they are attempting to comite fraud with the IRS. I don't even know where to begin....My wife was under the impression you were allowed to bring in icecream and when they gave us a comformation call we were told "do to heath regualtion we can no longer allow out side icecream". However we could pay for their icecream and drinks(pay 75 cents each), and some way that would keep the place cleaner and meet the heath codes...Then when the owner got on the phone she told me we could bring icecream. There attempts to milk every penny out of someone would not work on me. BEWARE! After voicing the issues with the owner she also said "So do you want to cancel the party". Like we could anyways, three days away and children excited to go! Not to mention the $75 deposit! At one point during the party all the kids were thirsty and said the water fountain was broken, just another attempt to get us to buy kids drinks...I went over and plugged it in! My wife was told that the free play was after and that my kids would be able to stay! That also didn't happen! Another lie, they booked another party, which I understand, however they should not tell you one thing and do another. My wife even called back to make sure the open play was after and they still said yes! I could go on and on! They make you where socks on the carpeted areas, which I do not mind, however if you want to use the bathroom and you did not bring any you have to buy socks from them because the bathrooms are in the carpeted area. Not to mention the kids pee on the floor and step in it with socks on and go right back out to playing on the inflatables. They brag about how clean there facilities are and they have won all kinds of reviews.....I guess money can buy you alot of reviews, or you kissed the right persons rear ends at some point. I hope this helps someone make a good decision to use another company, there are plenty to choose from. Bounce House, Pump it up to name a few!
