Bad Customer Service – Excellent food, but staff is rude and arrogant! I make 80k+ a year as a sales rep because of the excellent customer service I provide my customers! These people will never get anywhere in life!

Panera Bread off 164th Vancouver – This place has more of a sentimental value to me for the most part as it is one of the last places I was able to visit, just my mom and myself, before she died. We both enjoyed the sandwich we split and the soup. Mom had tea and I had iced tea. Both were very good. You can sit at a nice little table, and it is a very homestyle feeling while dining. Cashier was very nice and made excellent choices for what we decided to eat which was a tuna on whole wheat bread. I go here whenever possible, for lunch or a light snack and think of my mom fondly.

Freshest Bread in town – I received a gift card at work, and used it yesterday. The food and service was so good, I came back today.

Michael, my cashier, suggested that I try the turkey artichoke sandwich. Let me tell you, it was VERY

good. I got in my car to go back to work, and it smelled so good I just had to take a bite. I used up all of

my gift card, but I will be back.

Beware the breakfast sandwiches. – April 27, 2008. I ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches around 10:00 AM on this Sunday morning at Panera Bread in eastern Vancouver, Washington. Big disappointement. It was a fried egg, a slab of pre-manufactured sausage, and a small slice of cheese, served on a sliced piece of bread. It was just slapped together - the sausage and cheese were sliding off the bottom bun. The top bun was sliding off the top. The cheese was not melted. There were no other orders up, but the cook was in too big a hurry to put it together right. She wasn't too friendly either. I got the impression that putting my food on the pickup counter and telling me where to stick the beeper was an imposition on her. The worst thing though, was the eating experience. The sandwhich had the consistancy and flavor of PASTE. Just terrible. Even with generous tobasco, I could barely get through it. The McDonalds Sausage McMuffin with Egg is superior, at half the price.

I enjoy Panera's french onion soup, but the breakfast food, and the experience, were terrible.

Of course, Panera is always loud, but that goes with the fast-food territory.
