Downtown Spokane Restaurant – The Steelhead Bar & Grille is probably one of the coolest places in Spokane. They have all this metal work that looks great with the brick building. Once you are through looking at the decor and are ready to look at the menu you will not be disappointed.

The food really is amazing and the bar is set up so you can see it from any point in the restaurant. Last time I was there I got a gourmet burger with fries and it was so darn good. I wanted to have everything on the menu but that is for the next visit.

If you're downtown Spokane and looking for a place to eat for lunch or after work, look no further.

Highly recommended, YUM! – I've only been to the Steelhead a few times but I never stop being impressed with their tasty food, good happy hour, and friendly service.

First time I went just for the happy hour. Got a good price (2.50) on draft beer and a really delicious (teriyaki steak bites) appetizer for $5.

Second trip I took the server's recommendation and had the rare sesame seed encrusted tuna over rice and slaw. Amazing. And only $14. I could have easily paid twice the price for the same dish in Seattle. My only complaint was the slaw was a bit under-dressed, had some dry patches of cabbage. My hubby had the champagne halibut. Again, a bargain for a delicious entree.

Third trip we were there for lunch and had salads. The Howard Street Asian Chicken salad was fresh, light, and good. The cobb was huge and definitely above average in taste and quality.

We also had the soup of the day twice (german sausage stew and cream of mushroom) and each time it was fresh, well seasoned, and a big portion for the $2 you pay to add it to a meal.
