Very Pink and Sparkly!!! – To say that this is the place to take your right-sized pup is an enormous understatement, you will LOVE these ladies. And they will love your dog. They will give your treats and food at just the right time (when you say!) and keep them company while they play with the other guests.
I have two dogs that regularly go to 'camp' at The Puppy Lounge, and they both go hurtling in for their day or fun. I've also boarded with them, and they take wonderful care of my precious dogs.
Dogs need to be under 30lb, and shorter than I think 15" at the shoulder. Both mine fit right in.
It's very pink and sparkly, and they dress up (the girls, that is) for holidays. I'm always happy leaving Murphy and Molly in their care.
Horrible – This is the worst dog boarding place I have ever taken my dogs to. The girls who work there are rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. They frequently make mistakes regarding dates of reservations or change the rules regarding what the dogs can have from home. They are rude and never apologetic. When I have boarded my dogs previously, they usually come home happy and tired. When I pick them up from this place, they are so eager to leave and full of energy like they spent a whole lot of time in a small cage. They have the most limited and restricted hours (ie. aren't open on Sunday, not open till 10 am on Saturday). After the way I have repeatedly been treated, I will never go back.

P.S. We are open on Sundays from 4-5 PM for boarding pick ups :-)
Thank You Puppy Lounge! Love, Mommy and Puppy – We love the Puppy Lounge! I can’t decide who loves it more, me or my sweet boy Chewie. The staff has made us both feel welcome since day one. As soon as we walk in the door they greet us by name. Chewie loves hearing the cute girls say his name, and forgets to say good-bye to his mommy; he is so thrilled to be there. I love The Puppy Lounge for many reasons, one being the personal attention we receive. My little buddy is an excited boy and I appreciate the continuous attentiveness and help. I also love when I ask if he was a good boy that day they update me on who his favorite playmate(s) were for the day. It makes me feel certain he loves The Puppy Lounge as much as me when I see the fun he had. Chewie loves his friends and all the attention I know he receives while I’m at work. I have taken Chewie to other daycares in the valley and none come close to the care we receive at The Puppy Lounge. I feel confident that I’m leaving my friend in a safe, caring and fun environment. Thank you Puppy Lounge for the amazing service both mommy and puppy receive.
DANGEROUS!!! – I walked in and walked out after seeing giant groups of dogs that were big and small together with NO ONE WATCHING THEM!!! I saw a tiny dog get totally rolled over by a wild big dog. The place is smelly and dirty. When I said something to one of the employees (who wasnt watching the dogs at all), she was totally rude and didnt even care that the little puppy was in danger!

This review is obviously written by an angry competitor. I've been to all the day cares in Salt Lake City and Puppy Lounge is by far the best. It is indeed unfortunate that neurotic owners have to stoop so low as to put this poop out to make themselves look better. What a shame.

THANK YOU Puppy Lounge, We love you!! – I have just recently starting bringing my Yorkshire Terrier, Owen to The Puppy Lounge, and he LOVES it. He was such a timid and attached dog before I started bringing him in - Today was only the SECOND day i brought him in and he didn’t even look back at me to go play with his friends. THANK YOU puppy lounge, We love you!!
It’s been a wonderful experience! – It’s been a wonderful experience having this lovely place take care of my little Teddy. The girls who work here are always in a great mood, they are always nice not only to Teddy but also to me. The Puppy Lounge is always clean and neat and that is why I’m never worried when Teddy has to stay longer than what I planned. But besides all those wonderful things that everybody knows about the Puppy Lounge, I want to say that it has helped a lot for my dog to come here because Teddy used to be shy and not very self-confident and now after a while, he has changed tons, his attitude is so much better. He seems to feel very confident around other dogs (no matter what size). Thank you so much Puppy Lounge! Jessica & Teddy
BEST place to take your small pup – The Puppy Lounge has been such a wonderful place for our pup - we've been taking our baby here since she was 12 weeks old, since my fiance and I both work long hours, we didn't want her to be alone all day.
It's true, there are other places in SLC that offer cheaper monthly passes and longer hours of daycare, BUT even despite that, we have happily decided to stick with the puppy lounge because the staff is absolutely amazing. We take our pup to daycare M-F (and sometimes Saturdays) and she is always so excited and happy that she runs right in. When we pick her up, the staff always tells us how she did, any habits worth noting and so fourth, they have really become part of our family. Best of all, she's always exhausted when she comes home, which means she's had a great time running around all day.
Boarding is also great. When we went out of town, the staff called the next day to check if our flight landed safely and to update us on how our pup did overnight. They also gave her a bath when she accidentally stepped in some other dog's poop. We can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. The fact that they also use dog-friendly methods for keeping the place clean (it's always very clean btw) is great too. Very highly, highly reccommend.
We LOVE the PL! – So much that we try and get everyone we know to bring their pups there too! Thanks for taking such good care of “Toot” and for going out of your way sometimes to make sure she gets picked up!
Puppy Lounge is not all it says – wow, I just got off the phone after TRYING to make an appointment for my sweet, adorable, quiet mini Schnauzer Gracie.
I was totally shocked when the lady who answered the phone told me that they don't take mini-schnauzers anymore because they bark too much.
After I mentioned she rarely barks, she went into a long story about how sometimes they don't bark a lot at home but when they get there they do, someone that works there has one..blah blah blah....
she then recanted and said maybe she could put me on the waiting list. HUGE disappointment and very unprofessional not to mention discriminative. I wouldn't leave my dog there for fear she would be locked up if she barks- what a disapointment. :( I was so excited but now just really turned off.
great location, better facilities, best staff and service. – I've been taking my two "children" to the Puppy Lounge for a long time. They love it there and the staff loves them. By taking the time to learn each dog's needs, the staff makes sure that each dog is comfortable, happy, and has all they need to enjoy their stay. I've never once made the turn onto Burton Ave. without the dogs displaying exuberance - that speaks more than my words ever possibly could.
