Clean, professional, GREAT ART! – This is by far one of the best shops in San Diego... and it is definitely the BEST one in its area. I originally went to the shop down the street but the guys there were rude and perverted and the shop was blah. But this review is about Aztec, so moving on....
The owner of the shop, Nate, is extremely professional and courteous. He knows his stuff and he does fantastic work. The atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door makes you feel very comfortable and like you're truly being taken care of. It's very rare that you're able to say the about a tattoo shop.
I highly recommend Nate and Aztec Tattoo to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo or body piercing.
GREAT SHOP !!! – This shop is amazing !!
I think those other reviews are Haters cause this shop, Hands Down, KILLS IT!!!
As soon as I walked in I was greeted & my Tattoo was soon being drawn up!!
This shop is laid back & the artists continually are having you laughing & getting your mind off the pain! I have been to shops that ignore you or act like my idea isnt important.....this is not that shop!!
The artist was pretty quick & my set of Sparrows turned out great! Very colorful!
THANKS AGAIN AZTEC TATTOO!!!
not recommended – im sorry to say but the guys here are totally unprofessional. their work is not that great and personally i dont recommend going over there. i got my nose piercing there and it took two guys to pierce one nose and that pierce both sides of my nose on a count of they messed up on one side and couldnt put the jewelry in. i saw one big guy doing tattoos behind the counter and his work was quite simple and after tallking to the customer that he had work on they too were not satisfied. he couldn't get a straight line in. I would highly recommend any other shop in SD for any type of body art. i wouldnt even pay to get a simple name there. i usually get most of my work there at hung's tattoo.
Some nice work! – I can't speak for the piercings, but the tattoos are definitely cool. I went to a couple other shops around SD that had high reviews (Hung's tattoo), but found that Aztec was the one with the best work. A lot of Hung's Tattoo customers went to Aztec to get their work fixed, I am so glad I didn't get my tatts elsewhere. I'm glad I found Aztec or else I would have been an unhappy customer. Thanks Aztec for hookin it up.
bad piercing place – I trusted all the reviews but I shouldn't have! I got my both nipples pierced here months ago, and I just don't like them at all. They look so unbalanced...very crooked. The guy who did looked a bit high so I was kinda worried but I should've trusted my instinct and walked away. I only did it cuz they are cheap but it's always said, "u get what u pay for". I am spending another $100 to get them re-done at a better place... maybe it's a good tattoo place, i don't know, but not a good piercing shop for sure.
