My son is a student at KAS ICT. When he was younger, he was a shy child and I really faced trouble in getting him to open up in school and with his classmates. Listening to the reviews about KAS, I took him to this school. They evaluated him and told me that my son has a lot of potential. Today, my son has improved a lot after taking acting classes at KAS. He is not shy and he is also making more friends at school. I am very happy, because my son is happy there. He looks really smart and is able to face any types of challenges arising out in his acting career as well as life.
My 8 year old daughter is in her second year with Kids Acting School. She loves the program and looks forward to going every week. Teachers seem to be uniformly patient and enthusiast. I am delighted because Jessica had always been afraid of being the center of attention and tended not to volunteer to do anything that involves standing up in front of people. Today, she has successfully auditioned for one of the lead roles in a play at camp. With her classes, she seems more confident and less fearful of speaking up. Great job KAS!
KAS ICT is the best acting school for kids. My daughter tried a few different schools around Orange County and nothing tops KAS. They teach acting skills in an extremely positive environment. The teachers are amazing! They care and give each child personal attention. My daughter got an agent and booked two commercials and one print job. Big thanks to KAS. I’m glad I went ahead and did this for our child.
I have two kids there. My six years old daughter has worked A LOT! My two and a half-year-old started one year ago and did their excellent photo shoot course. Beautiful pictures. My son has worked on a "Babies R Us" commercial, he made really great money on that single job. I don't take him as much as I do my daughter, but I expected less work anyway for his age. He will be in acting classes soon, just like his sister. She loves the classes and adores the teachers. I will take them as long as they want me to.
I am as happy as my teenage daughter and my pre-teen son are. They were both admitted to KAS, two of the same ham --and by that I mean my husband. And they love the classes. This is the main reason to do this for us. The money is nice, but the kids have to have fun. And Brimom, I have an account with yelp, but I never use it. We own a law firm and all the positive comments are in "filter". One person, who is not very balanced to say the least, wrote some crazy stuff, and she is the only one up there, with one star. That site is ridiculous. It made me mad when I saw that, though. Don't worry about your review disappearing that you wrote for the school, it doesn't surprise me. Best, Ruby.
I am the lucky mom of two gorgeous kids. At least that is what my husband and I believe. I am a business owner, and we don't have a lot of time to take my daughter to the auditions which the agent she got through the school, send us to. She did book two commercials this year, though. She loves the teachers and the classes. We can only bring her to class on Sundays, since we work on Saturdays. Same thing with the jobs. One audition was for a national commercial, and we went after four p. m. in the evening. The other one, we could go over the week-end. If you don't like to drive to LA, don't do it. My daughter had to file for her own taxes this year. She made too much to file with us. She has become very assertive also!
Yep, I will now be bringing my daughter all the way from LA. Well, not totally, because my sister lives in the OC. I saw a lot of changes in my niece, who has been attending for quite some time now. She was quite shy, and isn't anymore. I have a boy also, but he is more into sports. I posted on yelp a while ago, and when I log in I see my post, but if I just look up the school, it looks like it disappeared .Then I read that yelp pulls posts left and right when they are positive. I am a real mom, and my daughter is definitely attending the school, as is my niece. This is only feasible because we get to spend Saturday night at my sister's house, and then we drive back on Sunday because my son has practice. I know that some parents drive down to the school from LA, and back the same day. That would be too much for us. I hope that they open an office in LA, as they said that they are considering doing. By the way, all the auditions are there, so that part will be easier for us than it has been on my sister and my niece. My niece's college is paid for, and she has had to file her own taxes because she has made too much money to file with her parents. My sister and I sit together on Saturday morning, and watch our kids in class. In a sense, this is now like a family thing.
I am the mother of two children. My daughter is very outgoing, and my son was a little bit on the shy side. When we went to the school, I knew that my daughter was going to get in, but I wasn't sure whether my son was going to pass their evaluation. I worked with him on Sunday, before that Monday, as did his sister, who is two years older. He warmed up enough to make it in, and I was pleased to be able to start bringing both my kids to class. I absolutely love the school and what the classes have done for my kids, who have so much fun!! As long as they will be enjoying this, I will be bringing them. Plus they have obtained commercial work --both of them! Now they are both in the big program! Very happy.
This is all about the education and the fun. This allows for the kids to speak very clearly. Not that our daughter didn't, but the level of diction after a few months gets unbelievable. Very important for a 7 years old. However, she already spoke quite well naturally. Our daughter adores the teachers and loves the classes. We are on the big program so in the long run it's very cheap because you just pay once and you can come in forever. Thanking all the teachers. You guys are awesome!
My husband was not into this to say the least. It's only because our daughter who was so shy, totally warmed up in front of 80 strangers and spoke loud and clear after working with the lady. We totally looked at each other. Our mouths dropped. It's been four months that she has been in class, got signed and she already made money (car commercial). I never thought my husband would pay for this, and I still had to push him a bit. Now we are both very happy we did. Note: If you don't like to drive to LA, like on your week ends is fine but otherwise, don't do it. It's all in Burbank.
