In Short
The generation that grew up with arcade blockbusters like The Gauntlet can relive their childhoods at this K-town video game pub--only this time, everyone's at legal drinking age. Lovingly patterned on a rec room, the bar area is decked out with numerous kitsch items like a stuffed Super Mario Bros. doll and a Lite-Brite display. Hundreds of quarters lie below the bar's glass surface, which features beer, wine, sake, and soju.

I can't tell anyone what's special and unique about this bar because all I saw was the worst attributes of too many L.A. bars magnified to an incredible degree. I could barely pivot around, let alone walk through the bar. It was so dark, I could not make out the faces of the guest my friend was trying to introduce to me, but then again, it was so loud, I couldn't hear their names, either. There were some friends I did know, but they were all trapped behind a mob of people; I couldn't even see that section of the bar. What decorations I could see looked to consist of cheap, ratty pieces of hand-drawn pieces of poster board. I was told this place has cheap beer and video games, but what good are they if patrons are separated from them by an impenetrable ocean of people? There are so many better bars in this city than this place.

This is a great place and I love the classic arcade games. I just wish it had a full bar and more classic games.
