Our purchase today was our second used car purchase from VIP Honda this year. We came back to this dealership because of the great experience we had in March with Alex Veras and again had great service with William James and Robert Eberbach today. William was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. No high pressure tactics but friendly and easy going, which makes used car buying extremely painless. We will be visiting VIP Honda again when we need to purchase a car.
David Otero was very knowledgeable and informative about the Accord we ultimately negotiated a price on, and answered all questions in a straightforward and honest manner. He was patient and accommodating and wanted to please his customer. Phil Petris, his manager was also open and straightforward, and willing to share information to show that the price was fair. Overall, they made it a reasonable and comfortable experience for an important transaction like this.
I bought a car from VIP Honda about 2 weeks ago. I walked in the door with credit challenges but was able to walk out a very satisfied customer due to William James' efforts.
Stay away from these bait and switch jerks! I received a low quote online for a 2013 Civic LX with a particular VIN, called and spoke to the internet sales manager Andie, and confirmed that the car was available. I asked for an "out the door" price and received an email that showed all of the additional charges with a total of $18,300 from Elios. I called Andie again to confirm and she said yes, yes please come in and you can buy it for what the email showed. I was there in about an hour. The showroom was empty. Now the fun began...
They said yes, we have all of your information, please sit down, would you like something to drink, etc. We sit down and the salesperson Alex said "we have to get the car before we can do any paperwork..." so we started to wait. After 15 minutes of nothing, I asked how long this will be. They said that they have 5 lots and it just takes a little while to retrieve the car, so we waited some more. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, finally an hour later, they bring up a car. Alex says "oh, we just sold the car your quote is for, but this one is almost identical except that it's $1000 more because it has pinstripes." I was furious at this OBVIOUSLY SLEAZY tactic. I asked to speak to manager Andie who I had spoken to just before I came. Sure, but I would have to WAIT SOME MORE because she was "on the phone" probably setting up some more bait and switch deals. I walked out.
Bottom line: they will give you a low low low price online, but YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THE CAR FOR THAT PRICE. DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
After Totaling our first Honda Pilot with no significant injuries we knew we wanted another one. William spent almost the entire day working with us and getting us a great price and financing. I would definitely recommend William and the rest of the staff at VIP Honda. Thanks for all your hard work guys!
