Great Sushi, great service – Great place to try some exotic sushi with fruits and relax in a nice quiet place. Hot foods were also pretty descent, I would say just right for my taste. We shared Mango and Mango Tuna rolls, and they were very refreshing and new. Service is very friendly and fast, didn't have any language problems with our server (maybe because we were more open-minded and not as mean as some people, just a thought) Would definitely recommend for sushi lovers if you happen to be in the area.
Wonderful Sushi! – I have no idea possible how someone could write a bad review about Nori. The food is impeccable. I have been there so many times. The service is really good when its not that busy, but when it is the service is OK. There is not one thing I have had on the menu that is bad. You can go there for any occasion. It is the perfect place to meet up with old friends and talk. The food comes out with a very beautiful presentation. And it tastes as good as it looks. I would recommend anyone who loves sushi and the japanese culture to try this restaurant.
good people – I came here with my one of my favorite people on Earth on a Friday night. It is a byob, so we began cheering sake bombs and enjoying some pinot gris as soon as we arrived, Our server was prompt and courteous. The food came out not too quickly, which is always nice b/c we usually like to spend alot of quality time conversating while dining. Of course we shared everything. The coconut shrimp tempura and chicken skewer appetizers were amazing. After which we ordered 2 of the special rolls which were absolutely delightful. We both had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone. There is also Nori in Wayne, which is a little bit of a darker, more romantic atmosphere and is equally as delicious.
JUST PLAIN AWFUL – i dont understnd how anyone can enjoy it at Nori. everything was awful, from food to service, sushi was unfresh and falling apart, rice tasted strange, the kitchen food was burnt and way too salty when i tried to get someone's attention, they ignored me, when finally smeone came over they just nodded and left again so i was unsure if they even understood me or if they cared. The atmosphere was cold and unfriendly and even stuck up, as if they were doing me a favor by just taking my order and plopping the dishes on my table, despite hearing other bad comments I went despite them and completely regret it, my friend and i had an awful experience, she had originally not wanted to eat japanese that night and i had drgged her out, I was ashamed and embarrassed after that meal. will NOT be returning. worst sushi ever I do not recommend it at all.
