We enjoy dining out locally, but hadn't had the chance to check out Baby Jane's Home Cooking until tonight. Don't waste your time...was one of the worst "buffets" I've ever seen. The place was so humid, my husband was actually sweating...and he's not a large man. The buffet lacked variety, most of the meats were way over-cooked...just didn't even look appetizing. We would have turned around and left, but a little Asian gal was quick to escort us to a table. One place we won't be going back to. :-/
Great Salmon Patties – Excellent turnip greens, mac and cheese, 3+ varieties of meat dishes, homemade yeast rolls and corn muffins.
The place is not very big, but service people are friendly, a small discount for seniors is given, and takeout is available.
Sometimes they have fried green tomatoes or salmon patties, almost always have fried chicken and banana pudding, and a decent salad bar.
Cheescake and chocolate cake are tasty, but seems like they came from Sam's club. A fruit cobbler is usually available, but too much crust and not enough fruit for me.
handicapped individuals will have a hard time dining here – This restaurant does not have handicapped access. I could not utilize the restroom here, among other things, and I ended up having to leave. What kind of experience is that for a human being? Please make your restuarant handicapped accessible so that more people can dine there.
