Good times – are always being had at Revel! You can find me here most weekend nights and the occasional weekday evening. I love it that much! It's definitely a place where people go dressed to impress--so show up in your finest attire ready to enjoy awesome drinks and even better food.
awesome food and bar – all of the food here is soooo delicious. it's nice to go to a place where you can start off with a good meal then stay for some drinks and late night fun. delicious artichoke salad, yummy mussels, good penne vodka and the sirloin is outta this world. if you don't try their chocolate velvet cake you are seriously missing out.
Best nightlife in NY! – No joke, this is where you need to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday night...shoot even the weekdays it's pretty bumpin' here. Always good times at revel.
Amazzzzing Brunch – It's pretty cool to come here for a night out, listen to awesome music and hang out in an overall cool space (the garden area is LEGIT) then be able to stumble there the morning after for brunch. My personal fave is the little west omelet. Their home fries are out of this world!
Good find! – High energy weekend nights - but calm perfect evenings and/or brunches. Apple stuffed Ravioli is NOT TO BE MISSED! DJs are good on Fridays/Saturdays and keep the crowd going. The garden has a retractable roof which makes you feel like you're outside in the winter..but you're actually OUTSIDE when the weather is good. Fun spot - not your typical meatpacking district place. Good prices - good location.
Fun Place, Great Food – First of all, this place has one of the coolest and most original atmospheres in town, with a retractable glass roof over the brick-wall garden in the back, a long bar, and still a comfortable, cozy feel. I went with a group of friends, and our waitress was so friendly and attentive of our needs throughout the entirety of the evening. The food is not cheap, but still on the cheaper end, compared to the other spots in this neighborhood, and considering that the portions are all generous, and in some cases even abundant. And did I mention DELICIOUS?!?!? Everything was fresh and satisfying, and the menu itself is fun and inspiring-- with an incredible wine-list to boot! The meats and fishes we tried were awesome, as well as the side dishes, and the pastas were homemade and yummy as well. All around, we had a great evening, and by the time we wrapped up dinner, the place was fully packed, and a whole new, wild part of the night seemed to be just beginning.. Will have to go back for a late night of drinking and dancing soon, but will certainly return for dinner as well.
great! – this place is fantastic...i went to dinner at Revel with friends last weekend and we cannot wait to go again...it has great character to it and the garden adds a really nice touch. The food was very good but the drinks were even better! I definitely recommend the TY-MO (it is a mohito made with some kind of liqueur that comes in a green bottle) - very cool and tasty)
jersey stay away – fantastic staff, really make you feel welcome, food very very average at best, drink only. and why change the name to revel from no name.. very very foolish
Truly Terrific – I knew nothing of the Meatpacker's District, but if Revel represents, then I will recommend it to everyone. I really don't know of many neighborhoods like this one, nor of many restaurants/bars like Revel. Real charm, I guess. An enclosed winter garden, and coming from a place where we've got winter 6 months a year, I can really appreciate. My pasta (I had something like fetucini) was really good and so were the drinks. We were 5 with no reservation and they were able to accommodate us rather quickly. Everyone else had steak (it comes on these huge flat stones which were really hot - watch out!) and they loved them - a word of caution though: if you like your steak rare get it off that stone quick or itll get overcooked!!). But I'm really writing because the service was outstanding. I've had decent NY service before, but this is really a cut above.
Great place for a daytime event!!! – Hosted a baby shower there this past weekend for 25 people. The garden was pretty and very spacious for NYC standards. The food was good (not amazing but good), the price was great and what made the day run smoothly was the EXCELLENT staff. Thank you so much Revel!!
