WORST BANK FOR OVER 10 YEARS!.
where do i begin? over 10 years ago, i had a problem with ohio savings bank - my mistake that i figured things have improved any. i went to open an account online, you know, because it's easy - and a month later - no contact or inquiries from the bank - no account. i call - first person tells me that maybe my check is there and you folks are "sitting on it" - she'd look into and get back to me in 72 hours...never happened. next person i talk to says that maybe my check was lost in the mail - it would be looked into and someone will get back to me. never happened. mind you again, it's been a month. try a third person - no help. talk to customer relations who assures me - after i tell him i'm going to stop payment on the check now - that ohio savings will take care of me and reimburse me the stop payment fees. that all i need to do is fax proof - i did. NOW, not only did he lie to me and tell me he'd be looking into this the next few days - what he failed to say - was that he would not even be in the office the next few days! so NOW we're almost going on a week! in the midst of all of this - the check comes back reading "undeliverable address" - amazingly enough - about 2 days after my initial complaint! which tells me either - this has happened to other people because ohio savings has carlessly provided a BAD ADDRESS online - OR that somehow, a bank of this size is incapable of having mail forwarded to the CORRECT ADDRESS. either way - yet again - poor POOR - VERY POOR service and yet again, i'm waiting for ohio savings to step up and fix their mistake.
