Excellent BBQ – Had dinner there over Labor Day Weekend. Food
was excellent. They only use wood to smoke their
meat. All the meats had a wonderful taste and smoke ring. Best coleslaw I've ever had.
It's a must if you like real BBQ. Can't beat the
My #1 Choice! – This place has the best Pulled Pork in Cincinnati in my opinion. Fast cafateria style service. You get a large sandwich with a couple of hearty sides, and a piece of sweet cornbread for about $6.50. The meat is top of the line with the best naturally smoked flavor that I have had. There is no fat in the meat either. Absolutely great green beans! Other sides are good too. You won't be dissapointed eating here!
Great Ribs and even better chicken – In my search to find the best ribs in Cincinnati I've traveled near and far. From Walt's to Goodies to Pit to plate to Big Art's and Hoggies and on to Chicago's Fish Chicken and Ribs and to many others to name. I finally found Jim Dandy's in Sharonville on Sharon road. The first thing you notice is the ambulance in the front of the restaurant as you pull up and it only gets better from there. The smoke greets you as you exit your car and find your way inside though the patio area. The chocies are few but quality laden. From St. Louis and babyback ribs to brisket to the fish sandiwich and the "Best" smoked chicken I've ever had everything is borderline great! The ribs are so tender and juicy you will accidently eat the gristle if you are not careful. You can't go wrong with either style of ribs because they are both the best. The smoke flavor compliments the pork like two old friends who love each other and will never part. And the chicken is almost to good for words. Smokey, juicy and with the crispy skin still attached it will make you hug your mother and mother-in-law. And don't forget the hot bar-b-que sauce! They could sell it in the stores and be rich! It's the best in Cincinnati. The sides are not the best but the green beans are good as well as the vegetable medly salad. The piece of cornbread they give you could be much bigger, but it's an afterthought. The prices are good but the quality is better. There is some good bar-b-que in Cincinnati, but this is the best!
