Tips for Korean Restaurant
Tasty, casual, affordable korean food!. With the free banchan and then your well-proportioned main entree, there is no way you leave feeling less than full. My personal favorite is the soft tofu hot pot/stew that is offered with the option of beef or seafood in it, along with a bowl of rice. The bbq is just ok, I think the real value comes from ordering the hot pots and the stews. The bimbimbops are also very good and the kimchee pancake alone could be a meal. And it's byob! There's a beer store across the street that has an excellent array of beer. Great, casual place to get tasty, affordable food. I've been to the other korean place in the city, called Pastoral, and found it to be just meh in terms of food and ambiance.
Surprised by how much I liked it!!!. I am not a real lover of Korean food. We were having a small meeting with a Korean friend and I ordered the beef bimbimbap (first time ever having it) and it was delicious!! No spicy food can pass these lips but the spice wasn't needed in order to enjoy this hotpot! Others in the group ordered the lunch boxes and we were amazed at the size of them & the variety in the them when they came out. The side dishes were also good & I was told the kimchi was great! For the price of the food you got a lot. I highly recommend this place. Menu is in english as well for those who fear going & not knowing what to order!
good food and service. This is a good little place that was sorely needed on the west side of CC. The service has always been friendly and efficient. Nice for take-out too.
