worst restaurant ever!! – To whom it may concern(and i hope it does)

I don't know how to put this lightly so ill just say it- this may be one of the worst restaurant experiences i have had in a very long time. I will explain. Before i do that however let me point out that this had nothing to do with the demeanor of the service. All employees were nice to us and i cannot blame them for my experience. so here goes

1) waiting 15 minutes after 8:00 for our 8:00 reservation.I was told we could "hang out" at the bar and that someone would come get us. So we sat there, walking by MANY open tables until it felt as if we were forgotten about and then went back and asked the hostess about the wait, who stated she was sorry and that she had sent someone to go look for us but that she "forgot what we looked like". whatever. if that was the worst part of the night i would have left happy.

2)in addition to wine, we had asked for waters as well. what we got was a warm glass(presumably had just been washed) filled a little more than halfway with WARM water and no ice! unbelievable.

3)next was a point at which i did not think it could get any worse(little did i know what i was in for). i ordered the "spicy crab soup" to start. what did i get? a BOWLFUL of spaghetti sauce! its almost funny that your restaurant passes off a bowl of marinara as "soup". how embarrassing. crab was MIA.

4)and here's the best part-the grand finale. i order the 20$ "stuffed rigatoni" for my entree. and finally it comes out in , well first time I've seen this , but a crock pot style bowl. no problem as i expect to open it and find a big pile of pasta and sausage. NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE! instead i see nothing, to the point where i have to lean over and look inside of the thing to discover in horror that there was about enough food in there to maybe feed a small child. no joking that was probably less than a child's serving. at first i thought this must have been some kind of mistake or prank, but after confirming with the poor waitress i found out this was indeed the actual portion. are you serious??? with all due respect, small portions and high prices only apply to restaurants with HIGH QUALITY FOOD. and i hate to be the one to break this to you guys, but you are so far from that kind of restaurant its not even funny in a joke. and you know this. your not a high end kind of restaurant like in the city or even in conshohocken(blackfish for example) so why would you think you could get away with this??

in conclusion, i would like to point out that we were not alone. the table next to us sent one of their entrees back twice (some kind of salmon i believe) and at the table behind us a man actually spit his food out on the floor at one point!!! i couldn't make this stuff up if i tried! all true stories!! unless you take a hard look at the kind of "restaurant" you guys are running and think about putting some real effort into improving these numerous and admittedly hilarious problems, the only hope for any success at your establishment will be keeping a busy night at THE BAR. this really was a disgrace guys, bad enough so that i actually took the time to write this email. oh before i forget , it would only be fair to point out one positive thing throughout this nightmare- the bread. it wasnt bad at all, especially with the dipping oil. now try and work your way up from there!

Only place to Eat Sushi at a Bar – I absolutely LOVE this place! It is the only place that I can do my 2 favorite things at the same time, sip a martini at a bar and eat sushi! Its a great atmosphere and the bartenders are friendly. The sushi is pretty good, not the best, but the special rolls are pretty tasty!
